★ Karambit | Boreal Forest (Field-Tested)

In Field-Tested (FT) the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest covers a float of 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Covert rank karambit with the ★ mark for CS2, and in this wear the cheapest of the Covert karambits.

What the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest looks like in Field-Tested

The finish is forest camouflage: the blade and ring are covered in blotches of olive, light green, sand and dark brown. The handle contrasts with it, bright green with gray ridged inserts. Valve describes the finish as forest camouflage applied by hydro printing.

The wear range for the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest runs from 0.15 to 0.38, and the scuffing builds noticeably across it. Toward 0.38 the camouflage patches on the edge and the ring turn lighter. The wear is fixed at drop and does not grow later.

Phase and pattern

There is no lucky pattern to hunt on the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest: the finish has a single look. The camouflage lies the same on every copy, and listings differ by float, the name on the blade and price.

What to check before buying

What matters when buying the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest:

• float: in Field-Tested it runs from 0.15 to 0.38, and the camouflage patches near the end of the band look clearly different;

• name tag: the knife takes a name, but it has no sticker slots;

• version: a StatTrak copy is sold as a separate listing.

What the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 4.58 times more, Minimal Wear 1.24 times, Well-Worn 1.04 times, and Battle-Scarred costs the same.

In this wear the finish is the cheapest of the Covert karambits: none is cheaper and seventeen are dearer. The nearest above are Safari Mesh (by 2 percent), Forest DDPAT (by 4), Urban Masked (by 6), Scorched (by 10) and Bright Water (by 21). The top of the row belongs to Case Hardened, Autotronic and Slaughter.

Getting the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest

A karambit with this finish drops from the same eleven cases as Blue Steel, from the CS:GO Weapon Case to the Revolver Case. A trade-up contract also yields a knife with the ★ mark, but there you do not choose the finish.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak edition of the ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest is available in the game.

Who this wear suits

The ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest in Field-Tested pays off when:

• you want the most affordable karambit with a skin on it rather than bare steel;

• green camouflage suits the handle and the kit in your CS2 loadout;

• marks of wear are acceptable, but Battle-Scarred costs almost the same and its float is higher.
