What the ★ Karambit | Slaughter looks like in Field-Tested

The blade carries wide red stripes and pale silvery-white ones, and the color moves from pink to a saturated red. The handle is black, with finger grooves, and the ring at the end is red. Valve describes the pattern as zebra stripes in aluminum and chrome paints of differing reflectivity.

In Field-Tested pale scuffs run along the tip and the edge. A copy's wear is fixed when it drops, and it stays put.

What to check before buying

What matters when buying the ★ Karambit | Slaughter:

• float: in this wear the knife occupies a narrow band, 0.15 to 0.26, and copies hardly differ from one another;

• a name tag: a name can be applied to the karambit, and it stays after the purchase;

• scuffs on the tip and the edge of the blade, judged from the image of the listing.

What the ★ Karambit | Slaughter costs in Field-Tested

The finish has just three wears, and they line up like this:

• Factory New costs a quarter more;

• Minimal Wear costs about the same.

Among the karambit finishes that come in this wear, Slaughter is the priciest. Autotronic is 5 percent lower, Blue Steel a sixth and Case Hardened a fifth. Black Laminate and Crimson Web come next, and Boreal Forest and Safari Mesh sit at the bottom.

Getting the ★ Karambit | Slaughter

The ★ Karambit | Slaughter drops from eleven cases, and the wear comes at random. A contract gives a second route: five Covert skins from any sets become a rare special item, but the model cannot be chosen in it. The karambit you want is bought as a ready listing.

Is there a StatTrak version

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Karambit | Slaughter here, in Field-Tested, makes sense under these conditions:

• you want a red-and-white karambit with a black handle, and Factory New costs a quarter more;

• your CS2 loadout is put together on red and black;

• Minimal Wear costs about the same, so the choice between them comes down to the float of the listing.
