Battle-Scarred (BS) is the widest of the five wear bands on the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC: float runs from 0.45 to 1.00, more than half of the whole scale. The skin is Covert and belongs to The Spy Tech Collection. There is no case for this rifle, because the collection was released without one.
What the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC looks like in Battle-Scarred
The base is dark graphite, scattered with black-and-white squares like a digital chessboard on the handguard and the stock. The color is gathered in a few places: a blue insert on the receiver cover with pink-and-white arcs, like a radar sweep; a blue tip on the muzzle brake; and a magazine that fades from blue to pink and almost to white. There is no glossy gradient across the whole body. It lives on the magazine and the inserts, and the rest is dark and graphic.
Wear is set when the skin drops, so it never changes afterward. Toward the high end of the 0.45 to 1.00 band the paint is worn away more heavily than near the low end. Two listings with the same wear label can therefore look different.
Where the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC came from
Flick Montana drew the finish. The Steam Workshop submission was titled "AK-47 — AUTO.EXEC (CAMO)" and appeared on July 23, 2025. On fonts, the author wrote that in his work they are either entirely his own or licensed, and that this one uses Space Grotesk, which has a free license. Valve's catalog number is 1449.
The AK-47 | AUTOEXEC entered the game on July 8, 2026. That day Valve added two weapon collections based on the Call to Arms community announcement: The Spy Tech Collection and The Arabesque Collection.
What to check before buying
Two points are worth checking on an AK-47 | AUTOEXEC in this wear:
- float: the wear runs from 0.45 to 1.00, and the difference between the two ends is easy to see;
- stickers and a name tag that the previous owner left on the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC.
The AK-47 | AUTOEXEC has no second artwork, so the choice comes down to float and whatever has been applied.
What the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC costs in Battle-Scarred
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest wear of this skin, and the others cost more:
- Well-Worn, 1.1 times as much;
- Field-Tested, 2.1 times as much;
- Minimal Wear, 4 times as much;
- Factory New, 8.2 times as much.
The gap to Well-Worn is tiny, because both wears are already far from factory condition. Among Covert AK-47s priced in this wear, the finish sits in the middle of the list: thirteen skins are cheaper and nine are dearer. A little above it come AK-47 | Vulcan, AK-47 | Fuel Injector and AK-47 | Jaguar; a little below, AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel and AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn.
Getting the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC
The AK-47 | AUTOEXEC does not drop from cases. The route that remains is the trade-up contract: ten skins of the rank below can be exchanged for it. In The Spy Tech Collection those skins are Classified: M4A1-S | Fatal Glitch and USP-S | Spiral Glitch. If you build the ten from that collection, the result is one of its two Covert skins. The other is Glock-18 | Ghost Protocol, so the odds are one in two.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is no StatTrak version of the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC. No Souvenir packages have been issued with this skin either.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | AUTOEXEC
The body is dark, so light stickers read clearly on it. The colored inserts are better left free: pink-and-blue stickers on the magazine merge into the gradient, and on the checkerboard squares of the stock small details get lost. For a sticker craft in CS2, large marks with a clean outline suit it best.
Who this wear suits
The AK-47 | AUTOEXEC in Battle-Scarred makes sense when:
- you want a Covert AK-47 from The Spy Tech Collection at the lowest price of the five wears;
- the dark, graphic look with color on the magazine matters more than clean paint;
- you are ready to choose within the long 0.45 to 1.00 band and compare several listings.
