This is the AK-47 | Breakthrough in Factory New (FN), with no color and no wear: only black, gray and white. The float runs from 0.00 to 0.07 on a finish scale that ends at 0.75. It is a Restricted skin that does not come from cases, and it belongs to The Achroma Collection.
What the AK-47 | Breakthrough looks like in Factory New
Contrast carries the whole design. Over the black-gray base slash wide white-gray diagonal strokes, torn at the edges and scattered with fine spray. The stripes run in a single line through the handguard, the receiver and the stock. The magazine, grip, trigger, barrel and gas block stay bare dark metal, and there are no other colors. No lettering, numbers or figures either: only traces of paint and drops.
In Factory New the white strokes lie clean even on the raised handguard ribs and the corners of the stock. Wear is fixed at the drop, and the skin stays like this for good.
Where the AK-47 | Breakthrough came from
The Achroma Collection came out on January 21, 2026, and the AK-47 | Breakthrough has been in the set since launch. The artwork was made inside Valve rather than sent in through the Steam Workshop. Valve's update note says Achroma and Harlequin were added to the weekly reward list. The skin's number in Valve's catalog is 1358.
What to check before buying
Before paying for an AK-47 | Breakthrough, it is worth checking:
- float: Factory New fits into 0.00 to 0.07, and the closer to zero, the cleaner the white edges;
- position of the stripes: the paint lies as a film, so on different copies they run differently;
- the name tag and stickers this AK-47 | Breakthrough already carries.
With only 0.00 to 0.07 to work with, there is no gain in hunting for a particular number.
What the AK-47 | Breakthrough costs in Factory New
Factory New is the skin's top wear. Minimal Wear is cheaper by almost a factor of two, Well-Worn and Field-Tested by more than a factor of three, Battle-Scarred by a factor of four.
Among Restricted AK-47 finishes in Factory New, this skin is the cheapest of nine. Safety Net and Emerald Pinstripe cost a fifth more, Midnight Laminate one and a half times as much, Slate nearly double, Blue Laminate nearly triple. The summit belongs to Rat Rod, Orbit Mk01 and First Class.
Getting the AK-47 | Breakthrough
The AK-47 | Breakthrough does not drop from cases. The Achroma Collection is on Valve's weekly reward list.
Trade-up works too: ten Mil-Spec skins go in, and the result comes from the collection of one of the inputs. Taking all ten from The Achroma Collection is the player's choice. There are two Restricted skins in it, so the odds are one in two.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AK-47 | Breakthrough has no StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages carry this finish either.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Breakthrough
A black-and-white background accepts any color: red, yellow and blue stickers stand out on it, while black-and-white ones merge with the strokes. The magazine stays bare metal, which makes it a convenient spot for a bright sticker. For a craft, the side of the receiver, where the wide white band runs, is the place to look.
Who this wear suits
Factory New makes sense for the AK-47 | Breakthrough when:
- you want a CS2 rifle in a strict black-and-white palette at the lowest price among Restricted skins;
- untouched white paint on the handguard edges matters;
- you plan a bright craft that will gain from a monochrome base.
