This is the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe in Well-Worn (WW), with a float in the narrow stretch of 0.38 to 0.45, only 7% of the scale. The collection is Bank, and the rank is Restricted. Among Restricted AK-47 finishes in this wear it is the cheapest of nine.
What the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe looks like in Well-Worn
The metal is gray and nearly black; the wood of the handguard and stock is dark gray-brown with an open texture. The ornament sits on the wood: bright green lines with a white or silvery partner run along the handguard, the upper handguard and the stock. They form leaves and curls and break off in places. The side of the receiver and the magazine are bare. Nothing is written on it.
In Well-Worn the thin green lines on the raised edges have vanished, and the ornament reads in fragments. Wear is set when the item drops. A float of 0.38 to 0.45 therefore shows how the skin will look for good: wood rubbed out at the edges, the middle of the design holding.
Where the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe came from
It was not the Steam Workshop that thought this skin up but Valve itself. The Bank Collection with this skin came out on May 1, 2014, and the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe arrived in the same update. In Valve's catalog the finish carries number 300.
What to check before buying
On a particular listing, check this:
- where the float falls inside 0.38 to 0.45;
- what is left of the green lines on the handguard and stock;
- a name tag and stickers, if any are already on this AK-47.
Floats for this skin here run from 0.38 to 0.45. It is a short stretch, so chasing a number gains nothing. The copies vary in wear alone and share one artwork.
What the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe costs in Well-Worn
Factory New costs more than five times as much, and Minimal Wear almost double. Field-Tested is a few percent dearer, and Battle-Scarred is level.
Among Restricted AK-47 finishes in Well-Worn, the Emerald Pinstripe is the cheapest of nine. Next come AK-47 | Breakthrough, AK-47 | Midnight Laminate and AK-47 | Slate. Higher are AK-47 | Safety Net and AK-47 | Rat Rod. The upper part of the row holds AK-47 | Blue Laminate, AK-47 | Orbit Mk01 and AK-47 | First Class.
Getting the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe
CS2 cases do not hold it. That leaves a trade-up contract: ten Mil-Spec skins from the Bank Collection turn into the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe with no variants, because the set has only one Restricted skin. If other collections go in, the odds are split among them.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe has no StatTrak version, and no Souvenir packages were released for the finish.
Stickers and craft on the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe
The free stretches of metal on the receiver are untouched, and a sticker lies there on an even dark field. On the wood, with its rubbed edges, the artwork and the sticker would fight each other. Expensive CS2 crafts lose part of their payoff in this wear, because the ornament is already incomplete.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn is worth buying on the AK-47 | Emerald Pinstripe in these cases:
- you need a Restricted AK at the lowest price;
- the ornament should read at least down the center of the handguard;
- the skin is meant as a trade-up input, not a display piece.
