The AUG | Lapis Lazuli in Field-Tested (FT) sits mid-scale, at the point where the finish's price begins to drop noticeably: Factory New costs almost six times more. For this finish, Field-Tested means a float from 0.15 up to 0.38. Restricted rank; the AUG belongs to The Arabesque Collection.
What the AUG | Lapis Lazuli looks like in Field-Tested
Valve describes the finish as a white, blue and gold design imitating lapis lazuli. The top of the receiver, the optic housing and the magazine are white; the barrel, the lower part and the grip are blue with a small white ornament of star-shaped patterns. The gold gathers into thin rings and small inlays.
The ornament is dense and repeating, with no central artwork. White surfaces and blue ornament split the rifle roughly half and half, so in Field-Tested the state of the paint is judged on two colors at once.
Where the AUG | Lapis Lazuli came from
The AUG | Lapis Lazuli appeared on July 8, 2026, when The Arabesque Collection was added to the game. Valve released Arabesque and Spy Tech as two new weapon collections, following a community idea drive it had announced earlier.
What to check before buying
Worth checking on the AUG | Lapis Lazuli before you pay:
- float inside 0.15 to 0.38: the finish has the full scale, and this band takes 0.23 of 1.00;
- the white areas on the receiver, the optic and the magazine, where purity of color reads best;
- the stickers and name tag already on this copy of the AUG | Lapis Lazuli.
There is no pattern to choose on the AUG | Lapis Lazuli: it is the same on every lot. The band from 0.15 to 0.38 is long, and the copies at its ends differ noticeably.
What the AUG | Lapis Lazuli costs in Field-Tested
The other wears against this one:
- Factory New costs almost six times more;
- Minimal Wear is roughly two and a half times the price;
- Well-Worn is about a third cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is roughly one and a half times cheaper.
Among Restricted AUGs in this wear, the finish stands mid-list: of nine, four cost more and four cost less. The nearest above, AUG | Torque, costs about one and a half times more. Higher still is AUG | Sand Storm, while AUG | Midnight Lily and AUG | Flame Jörmungandr cost tens of times more.
Getting the AUG | Lapis Lazuli
The AUG | Lapis Lazuli is not in any case.
To trade up for the AUG | Lapis Lazuli you need ten skins of the rank below; the result is taken from the collection of the skins you put in. The Arabesque Collection has three Restricted skins, and this finish is one of them.
StatTrak and Souvenir
No StatTrak version of the AUG | Lapis Lazuli was ever released. There were no Souvenir packages for this finish either: those were made only for the tournament map collections. But a Souvenir copy can be assembled by hand. The Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from your inventory. That is why a few Souvenir copies occasionally surface even where packages never existed.
Stickers and craft on the AUG | Lapis Lazuli
The blue ornament is dense, so only large, high-contrast stickers read on it. The white areas are freer: the top of the receiver and the magazine, where gold, blue and black stickers stand out.
Who this wear suits
Buying the AUG | Lapis Lazuli in Field-Tested is reasonable if:
- you want a white-and-blue AUG with gold accents for a CS2 loadout;
- the price of the upper wears does not suit you: Factory New costs almost six times more;
- you want a skin from The Arabesque Collection, released in July 2026.
In CS2 a weapon's wear changes how it looks, not how it shoots. If the purity of the white and blue matters, look at Minimal Wear: it costs about two and a half times more.
