The AWP | Worm God in Well-Worn (WW) is the last wear of the finish. There is no Battle-Scarred for this skin. The float ceiling of 0.45 coincides with the top of the 0.38 to 0.45 band, and the band itself takes up 16% of the scale. It is a Restricted skin from The Chroma 2 Collection. Here you can buy the most worn version of the AWP.
What the AWP | Worm God looks like in Well-Worn
The base of the finish is light: receiver, stock and grip are gray-white with olive-yellow streaks. A thin black wavy mesh runs across it and bunches into a tangle on the right side of the receiver. The scope is dark gray with a light ring, while the barrel and bipod are bare metal.
The lines are very thin, and in Well-Worn that shows more than in the higher wears. They break on the edges of the receiver, the cheek piece and the ribs of the grip. On the flat right side of the receiver the tangle holds on longer. A light base also gets visibly dirtier in this condition.
Where the AWP | Worm God came from
The AWP | Worm God appeared in the game in April 2015. It was drawn by enzYm, whose Workshop submission, "AWP l twine (worm god)", was filed on January 16, 2015. The author asked people to vote for it, favorite it and share it.
What to check before buying
Before you buy, look at the following:
- float: in this wear the number lies between 0.38 and 0.45;
- whether the copy has stickers or a name tag on it;
- the type of listing: StatTrak exists for the finish.
Copies do not differ in artwork, and there is no particular one to hunt for. Inside 0.38 to 0.45 there is no better copy to find.
What the AWP | Worm God costs in Well-Worn
- Factory New is dearer by about one and a half times;
- Minimal Wear sits about a twentieth above;
- Field-Tested is cheaper by about a tenth.
Of the three wears below Factory New, Well-Worn sits in the middle. Prices do not follow the order of wear: the cleaner Field-Tested costs less.
Among Restricted AWPs this skin in this wear sits in the lower part of the row: only Pit Viper and PAW are cheaper. Above it come Exothermic, Black Box, Atheris, Exoskeleton, Phobos and POP AWP. The top of the row is Pink DDPAT.
Getting the AWP | Worm God
Its source is the Chroma 2 Case, and nothing else drops it.
You can also reach it by trade-up: ten Mil-Spec skins go into the contract, gathered from anywhere, and the collection of the result is decided by the inputs. A ten taken entirely from The Chroma 2 Collection gives one of four Restricted skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the AWP | Worm God exists. Souvenir packages for this finish do not.
Stickers and craft on the AWP | Worm God
A light field with black lines on it suits stickers in dark tones. On a scuffed Well-Worn copy it is wiser to put them on the flat parts of the receiver and stock, where the artwork is still whole. Leave the cheek piece with its light oval alone, since it already carries enough patterns of its own.
Who this wear suits
This wear of the AWP | Worm God is reasonable when:
- you want the most worn version the skin has;
- the black-line artwork matters more than a clean base, and Factory New costs about one and a half times as much;
- you are choosing between Well-Worn and Field-Tested, which is cheaper by about a tenth.
There is no saving to be had here: Minimal Wear costs about five percent more.
