B Squadron Officer | SAS

B Squadron Officer | SAS is a Distinguished Agent rank Counter-Terrorist agent from the Shattered Web Agents set. In that set the B Squadron Officer sits exactly in the middle: eleventh of twenty-two.

What the B Squadron Officer | SAS looks like

The face cannot be seen: a gas mask with large round green lenses covers it, and a yellow filter with lettering hangs at the side. The helmet is wrapped in green camouflage netting, and a British flag patch is on the shoulder.

The uniform is olive-green camouflage with a tactical vest with pockets over it, and a knife in a sheath is fixed to the chest. The colors are muted, with the yellow filter and the yellow details on the helmet the only bright spots.

Where the B Squadron Officer | SAS came from

He comes from the Shattered Web Agents set, which arrived on November 19, 2019, with Operation Shattered Web. The set mixes agents from different armies and agencies, and the British SAS is represented by the B Squadron Officer.

Valve presents SAS officers as secretive and very dangerous people who spend years honing infiltration, hostage rescue and operations the public is not meant to know about. The entry is signed with the regiment's motto, "Who Dares Wins".

What the agent does in game

The agent takes the model slot of its side, so the B Squadron Officer is seen only on the Counter-Terrorist team. Choosing the model in CS2 does not affect stats, damage, accuracy or hitboxes.

There are no variants: every copy is the same, and the model exists in one form only.

Which gloves go with it

The camouflage is olive and the vest dark, so gloves in earthy and dark green shades look best. They continue the uniform and merge with it into one silhouette.

Light leather looks foreign against this background. Cool gray-blue tones are acceptable if you want contrast with the green; a large bright pattern clashes with the yellow filter.

What the B Squadron Officer | SAS costs

Above him stand The Elite Mr. Muhlik | Elite Crew and Ground Rebel | Elite Crew, each about a fifth more, then Osiris | Elite Crew, by an eleventh. Below, the order is dense: Markus Delrow | FBI HRT is cheaper by a few percent, and 'Two Times' McCoy | USAF TACP by about an eleventh.

Slingshot | Phoenix is lower by about a sixth. This whole stretch of the order is dense, and the price steps here are small.

Who it suits

Buying the B Squadron Officer for CS2 is worth it when:

• you want a Counter-Terrorist agent in a gas mask whose face is not visible at all;

• you like the British theme: a flag on the shoulder, camouflage, a knife on the vest;

• the middle price level of the Shattered Web Agents set matters, with neither the top nor the bottom.
