Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals

Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals is a Superior-rank Terrorist agent from the Operation Riptide Agents set. Counting down the set's price order, it is seventh of twenty-one.

What the Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals looks like

A skull mask covers the face: white with yellow trim and purple honeycomb, with dark dreads escaping from beneath it. On the chest is a dark green vest with straps and brown leather shoulder pads, and a gold chain with a tag hangs at the neck.

The sleeves are dark blue, embroidered with gold curls. The overall tone is earthy and dark. The mask is the only light element and draws the eye at once.

Where the Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals came from

The Operation Riptide Agents set, which includes this agent, was released on September 22, 2021 with Operation Riptide.

Valve presents him as the Darryl of the days before he led the Professionals gang, when he was just Darryl with no title. Valve calls him the psychopath next door and adds a joke: Australians do not consider him a real Australian.

What the agent does in game

This model works only on its own side, the Terrorists. Choosing it changes neither damage nor accuracy nor hitboxes in CS2.

The agent exists in a single form, so there is no choosing between versions.

Which gloves go with it

The agent model draws the sleeves and forearms, and gloves sit over the hands. This agent carries a lot of dark green, brown and gold.

By eye, gloves in earthy shades fit: brown, dark olive, graphite. A bright multicolor pattern fights the gold embroidery on the sleeves, and light gloves pull attention away from the mask. This is matching by look: the game does not score combinations.

What the Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals costs

It sits seventh of twenty-one, with only six agents in the set above it. The nearest one above, Trapper | Guerrilla Warfare, is barely more expensive. Vypa Sista of the Revolution | Guerrilla Warfare is about a fifth higher, and Cmdr. Frank 'Wet Sox' Baroud | SEAL Frogman about a quarter.

Below, Elite Trapper Solman | Guerrilla Warfare and Trapper Aggressor | Guerrilla Warfare are cheaper by roughly a sixth to a fifth. Col. Mangos Dabisi | Guerrilla Warfare trails by a fifth and a little more.

Who it suits

The Bloody Darryl The Strapped | The Professionals is worth buying for CS2 when:

• you play the Terrorist side and want a mask that stands out on dark maps;
• you are collecting the Professionals from several sets;
• you want an agent from the top third of the Operation Riptide Agents price order.
