Charm | Diamond Dog

Charm | Diamond Dog is an Exotic charm from the Missing Link Charm Collection. In the price order of its set it holds third place.

What the Charm | Diamond Dog looks like

The charm shows a long, sausage-like little figure with a sloping head. Its body is covered in fine mosaic facets that shimmer white, pink and light blue.

The face wears a pink mask with a scowl, and a golden mount with a black carabiner sits on top. The base color is sparkling and light, so the charm shows up well on a dark weapon.

Where the Charm | Diamond Dog came from

The Armory update of October 2, 2024 brought charms into the game, and Diamond Dog arrived in the Missing Link Charm Collection.

It has no story of its own. Valve's description covers only the charm mechanism.

How the charm works

Diamond Dog can hang on a weapon or a C4 skin. Knives and gloves do not accept charms. After you remove it through Charm Detachment, it lands in your CS2 inventory intact.

A weapon has one spot for a charm, and Sticker Slab takes exactly that spot, so the slab will not fit next to Diamond Dog. The figure is a three-dimensional model with physics: it swings as you move and turn instead of hanging motionless.

Pattern number

Each copy carries a pattern number, which you see in the inspect window. The number does not change how Diamond Dog looks. It is a collector's feature.

What the Charm | Diamond Dog costs

Of the seventeen charms in the Missing Link Charm Collection, Diamond Dog is third in price. Charm | Hot Howl costs more than four times as much.

Charm | Hot Wurst costs more than one and a half times as much. Below it, Charm | Lil' Monster is cheaper by more than half, Charm | Diner Dog by more than two thirds, and Charm | Lil' Teacup by four fifths.

Who it suits

Diamond Dog is worth buying for CS2 when:

• you want a glittering Exotic charm from the upper part of the set's price order;

• your weapon is in dark tones and needs a light, iridescent accent;

• you are collecting the Missing Link Charm Collection.
