Charm | Diner Dog

Charm | Diner Dog is an Exotic charm from the Missing Link Charm Collection. It is fifth of seventeen in the set's price order, which puts it in the upper third.

What the Charm | Diner Dog looks like

The figure is rounded and elongated like a sausage, with a red goggle-style mask and sleepy eyes. Its body is covered in a geometric pattern of red, light blue, yellow and pink pieces.

It hangs from a black loop with a gold ring. The pattern is busy and dense with no single main color, so a different piece catches the eye from every angle.

Where the Charm | Diner Dog came from

Charms appeared in the game on October 2, 2024, in The Armory update. Diner Dog joined the Missing Link Charm Collection.

Valve invents no legend or hero for it. This is simply an accessory for a weapon.

How the charm works

Diner Dog clips onto a weapon or a C4 skin. Knives and gloves are closed to it.

Charm Detachment takes it off, after which the charm sits in your inventory with nothing lost.

A weapon can carry only one charm, and Sticker Slab uses the same slot, so Diner Dog and the slab exclude each other. The figure hangs as a three-dimensional model with physics and visibly sways when the player runs or turns sharply.

Pattern number

Each Diner Dog has its own pattern number, which in-game inspection shows. The number does not change how it looks, so it matters for collecting.

There are exceptions: on Baby Karat and Die-cast AK the number sets the color, and rare ranges are valued higher. Diner Dog is not one of them.

What the Charm | Diner Dog costs

The charm holds fifth place of seventeen. Charm | Hot Wurst costs more than five times as much, Charm | Diamond Dog more than three times, and Charm | Lil' Monster one and a half times.

Charm | Lil' Teacup is cheaper by about a third, Charm | Lil' Whiskers by almost half, and Charm | Chicken Lil' by a factor of two and a half.
