Charm | Eye of Ball is an Exotic-rank charm from the Dr Boom Charm Collection. Within the collection it stands seventh of twenty-two, in the top third.

What the Charm | Eye of Ball looks like

The charm is an eyeball standing on two brass legs. The white is pinkish with fine cracks, and in place of a pupil there is a blue stone in a patterned brass setting.

At the top the eye connects to a ring. Beside it are a block with a grenade-style lever and cross-shaped brass parts. The mix of flesh and metal looks both eerie and neat.

Where the Charm | Eye of Ball came from

Eye of Ball sits in the Dr Boom Charm Collection. Charms turned into a category of their own on October 2, 2024, with The Armory update.

The item has no backstory. In the listing text Valve explains only how charms work and says nothing about the item itself.

How the charm works

Eye of Ball attaches to weapons and to C4 bomb skins, but not to knives or gloves. You can remove it with the Charm Detachment tool, and the charm returns to your CS2 inventory intact.

A weapon has a single charm slot, and Sticker Slab takes it too, so the two cannot be combined. The eyeball on legs is a three-dimensional model with physics: it swings on its ring as you run and turn.

Charms have no wears or float, so there is no wear to choose. This category has no StatTrak or Souvenir versions either.

Pattern number

Each copy carries its own pattern number, which shows up on inspection. It does not change how the item looks: the color and artwork are the same on every copy, so the number remains a collectible marker.

What the Charm | Eye of Ball costs

Only two charms stand above it: Lil' Yeti, at about one and a half times the price, and Lil' Eco, a few percent higher.

Below it, Hungry Eyes and Flash Bomb are cheaper by a few percent, Charm | Lil' Bloody by almost three times, and Big Brain by almost five times. The step down after the nearest neighbors is sharp.

Who it suits

Eye of Ball for CS2 is worth buying when:

• you want a charm with brass parts and a blue stone;


• you like the image of an eye with a technical finish;


• the top third of the Dr Boom Charm Collection matters to you.
