What the Charm | Glitter Bomb looks like

It is a round baby grenade on two legs. The body shimmers from pink to purple, glossy black glaze drips down from the top, and bluish boots show below.

The black lever and the pin ring are in place, and there is lettering on one boot. The charm hangs from a dark metal loop, so the grenade sits upright.

Where the Charm | Glitter Bomb came from

The Armory update of October 2, 2024 brought charms to the game, and the Glitter Bomb from the Dr Boom Charm Collection was among them.

Valve does not say where the Glitter Bomb character comes from. The description is about mechanics.

How the charm works

Weapons and C4 skins take this charm. It cannot go on a knife or on gloves.

A Charm Detachment tool takes the Glitter Bomb off and hands it back to the inventory undamaged.

A weapon has one place for a charm, and Sticker Slab sits in the same one, so the slab and the Glitter Bomb rule each other out. It is a three-dimensional model with physics, not a flat picture: when you run or turn, it swings instead of freezing in place.

Pattern number

Each Glitter Bomb carries its own pattern number, which the in-game inspect shows. The look does not change when the number does. Here the number only marks the copy.

The number affects the item on just two charms: the Die-cast AK and the Baby Karat, where rare ranges cost more. The Glitter Bomb is not one of them.

What the Charm | Glitter Bomb costs

This charm ranks fourth of twenty-two. Butane Buddy is almost nine and a half times higher, 8 Ball IGL two and a half times higher, and Lil' Ferno only a few percent higher.

Lil' Yeti is more than three times cheaper, Lil' Eco almost five times, and Hungry Eyes five times.

Who it suits

The Glitter Bomb suits you for CS2 when:

• you want a grenade charm with a glossy pink and purple body;
