Description

The Charm | Hang Loose is a Remarkable rank charm from the Missing Link Community Charm Collection. Among the charms of the Missing Link set, it sits in the lower third.

What the Charm | Hang Loose looks like

The figure is a surfboard with little legs and arms: pale wood edges, and a pink-white surface in the middle with a green palm tree. The palm shimmers yellow-green and light blue.

On top is a small metal loop with a light blue insert. The palette is pale, summery and soft. The charm stands out on a dark weapon, while the wooden edge blends into a light one.

Where the Charm | Hang Loose came from

Until October 2, 2024, the game had no charms. That day The Armory update arrived, and the Missing Link Community Charm Collection appeared together with the category.

Valve says nothing about the Hang Loose itself. The text on the item page only explains how to remove a charm.

How the charm works

The Hang Loose fits weapons and C4 skins. Knives and gloves have no room for charms. You remove it with the Charm Detachment tool, and the charm comes back to your inventory.

A weapon has one charm slot, and the Sticker Slab takes exactly that slot, so the Hang Loose goes on instead of a slab, not alongside it. The surfboard is a full 3D model and swings as you run and turn, following physics.

Pattern number

Every charm gets its own pattern number, shown in the inspect window. The design is the same on all copies, so the number only serves as a mark for a particular copy.

What the Charm | Hang Loose costs

The Missing Link Community Charm Collection holds twenty-three charms, and this one is seventeenth in the price row, in the lower third.

Above it are Dead Weight (about a third more), Lil' Buns (a little over double) and Pocket Pop (two and a half times). Six charms below it go at the set floor, almost level with it.

Who it suits

The Charm | Hang Loose for CS2 is worth buying in these cases:

  • you want a charm in a pale summer palette with a palm tree;

  • you are collecting the Missing Link Community Charm Collection, where this charm sits in the lower third of the row;

  • your weapon is dark, and a light figure should read clearly on it.
