Charm | Hot Hands

Charm | Hot Hands is a Remarkable charm from the Small Arms Charm Collection. It sits ninth of sixteen in that set's price order.

What the Charm | Hot Hands looks like

The charm is a compact submachine gun in miniature. Its body carries a crimson-pink pattern with dark veins, much like cooling lava.

The metal parts are dark: the grip, the magazine and the sight rail. A silver ring sits on top. The color is warm and saturated, so it stands out at once against a dark weapon.

Where the Charm | Hot Hands came from

It belongs to the Small Arms Charm Collection. October 2, 2024 is the day charms became a category of their own, with The Armory update.

Hot Hands has no history to tell. Valve's listing text explains only how charms work and says nothing about this one.

How the charm works

You can hang Hot Hands on a weapon or on a C4 skin, but not on a knife or gloves. The Charm Detachment tool takes it off, and the charm returns to your CS2 inventory intact.

There is no wear tier to pick and no float to check on a charm. StatTrak and Souvenir versions do not exist for this category either.

A weapon has one charm slot, not two, and Sticker Slab goes into the same slot Hot Hands occupies. The charm is a three-dimensional model with physics. It swings as you run and turn rather than sitting still like a flat badge.

Pattern number

Every copy has its own pattern number, visible on inspection. It does not change how the item looks: the color and design are identical on all copies. The number is a collector's detail and nothing more.

What the Charm | Hot Hands costs

Above it sit Lil' Squirt at more than three times the price, Glamour Shot at about one and a half times, and POP Art at a tenth more.

Below it, Disco MAC is cheaper by only a few percent. Pocket AWP and Whittle Knife are cheaper by almost a third. A small step separates the middle of the set from the lower part.

Who it suits

Hot Hands is worth buying for CS2 when:

• you want a weapon-shaped charm with crimson magma on it;

• you like a bright, saturated color;

• the middle of the Small Arms Charm Collection price order is the spot you want.
