Charm | Whittle Guy is a High Grade charm from the Dr Boom Charm Collection: a round grenade carved from wood, with an angry face cut into it.
What the Charm | Whittle Guy looks like
The charm is a round grenade with dark brown carving on pale wood. A snarling angry face is cut into the body, and a pattern of sharp curls runs along the sides.
On top is a light-colored stopper with a carved design, with a lever and a small ring beneath it and two paws at the bottom. The palette is gray-brown, restrained, almost monochrome.
Where the Charm | Whittle Guy came from
Whittle Guy belongs to the Dr Boom Charm Collection. Before October 2, 2024, neither Whittle Guy nor any other charm existed in the game: The Armory update added them.
Valve's description is shared by all charms, so it says nothing about where Whittle Guy came from.
How the charm works
Whittle Guy attaches to a weapon or a C4 skin, but not to a knife or gloves. The Charm Detachment tool unscrews it, and it arrives in the CS2 inventory whole.
A gun has one charm slot, and Sticker Slab takes exactly that one: Whittle Guy goes on instead of the slab, never beside it. The model is three-dimensional with physics, so when the player runs and turns, Whittle Guy swings rather than hanging like a flat picture.
Pattern number
The pattern number on Whittle Guy is individual to each copy. It serves only as a collector's marker and does not affect how Whittle Guy looks.
What the Charm | Whittle Guy costs
Charm | Whittle Guy carries the same price as five other charms of the Dr Boom Charm Collection.
Sixteen charms in the set cost more, and none costs less.
Who it suits
Whittle Guy is worth buying for CS2 when:
- you want a restrained charm with wood carving;
- you are completing the Dr Boom Charm Collection and Whittle Guy is still open;
- your weapon wears a calm gray or brown palette.
