Charm | Whittle Knife

Charm | Whittle Knife is a High Grade charm from the Small Arms Charm Collection. It copies a hand-carved wooden dagger with a wrapped handle.

What the Charm | Whittle Knife looks like

The charm is a wooden dagger carved by hand. You can see the grain of the wood and nicks along the blade, while the handle is bound with twine and fastened by a screw at the guard.

It hangs from a silvery ring. The warm light brown stands out sharply against the metallic charms in the set and looks good on a dark weapon.

Where the Charm | Whittle Knife came from

Charms arrived as a category on October 2, 2024, with The Armory update, and Whittle Knife sits in the Small Arms Charm Collection.

The developers wrote no story for Whittle Knife, so there is no invented biography here.

How the charm works

Weapons and C4 skins are where Whittle Knife can go. The charm does not attach to knives or gloves. Charm Detachment unhooks it, and it lies in the CS2 inventory intact once more.

A barrel has one charm slot, and Sticker Slab goes into exactly that slot, so Whittle Knife and Sticker Slab will not fit together. The knife hangs as a 3D model and swings when you run and turn instead of dangling motionless.

Pattern number

Copies of Whittle Knife differ by pattern number, which you can see on inspection. The look does not change with the number. The difference matters only to collectors.

What the Charm | Whittle Knife costs

Whittle Knife sells at a price common to five charms of the Small Arms Charm Collection.

Four other items of the set cost the same. The knife itself does not move the price.

Who it suits

Whittle Knife is worth buying for CS2 when:

• you want a plain wooden charm with no shine or neon;
• your Small Arms Charm Collection lacks the Whittle Knife;
• you like hand carving with a slightly rough edge.
