Chroma 2 Case

The Chroma 2 Case is the second Chroma case in CS2 and holds fifteen skins. Its rare special item pool matches the Chroma Case and the Chroma 3 Case: knives of five models and six skins.

What's in the Chroma 2 Case

By rank the set breaks down like this: six Mil-Spec skins, four Restricted, three Classified and two Covert. The Covert ones are M4A1-S | Hyper Beast and MAC-10 | Neon Rider.

The Classified skins are Five-SeveN | Monkey Business, Galil AR | Eco and FAMAS | Djinn. The Restricted ones are AWP | Worm God, MAG-7 | Heat, CZ75-Auto | Pole Position and UMP-45 | Grand Prix.

Mil-Spec is represented by AK-47 | Elite Build, MP7 | Armor Core, Desert Eagle | Bronze Deco and P250 | Valence, along with Negev | Man-o'-war and Sawed-Off | Origami.

Which knives drop from the Chroma 2 Case

The rare special item pool of the Chroma 2 Case is knives of five models: the Bayonet, Flip Knife, Gut Knife, Karambit and M9 Bayonet. Each comes in one of six skins: Damascus Steel, Doppler, Marble Fade, Rust Coat, Tiger Tooth and Ultraviolet.

What drops is decided by chance: the knife model, skin and wear cannot be chosen in advance.

Do you need a key

The Chroma 2 Case needs a key, and it can be had only through the game. Since October 2019, keys cannot be transferred to another account or listed on trading marketplaces, so LIS-SKINS has no key.

Opening is optional. The skins and knives from this case also exist as separate items. A specific skin is easier to buy as a ready listing than to chase through a run of openings.

What the Chroma 2 Case costs

In the lineup of CS2 cases, the Chroma 2 Case sits above the middle. Its nearest neighbors below are the Chroma 3 Case (1.15 times cheaper), the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (1.08 times) and the Spectrum Case (1.03 times). Above it stand the Shattered Web Case (1.08 times more), the Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (1.19 times) and the Chroma Case (1.2 times).

The top of the line runs far higher: the eSports 2013 Case costs about twelve times what the Chroma 2 Case does, and the CS:GO Weapon Case thirty times.

Who it suits

The Chroma 2 Case is worth buying when:

• you want a case with knives of five models and six skins, Marble Fade among them;

• you like M4A1-S | Hyper Beast and MAC-10 | Neon Rider, the two Covert skins of the set;

• you want to collect all three Chroma cases: the Chroma 2 Case is the second in that series.
