Chroma 3 Case

The Chroma 3 Case is the third Chroma case in CS2, a standard one. It holds seventeen skins, and its rare special item pool covers five models.

What's in the Chroma 3 Case

The case holds seven Mil-Spec skins, five Restricted, three Classified and two Covert. The Covert skins are PP-Bizon | Judgement of Anubis and M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire.

The Classified skins are AUG | Fleet Flock, P250 | Asiimov and UMP-45 | Primal Saber. Among the Restricted are CZ75-Auto | Red Astor, Galil AR | Firefight, SSG 08 | Ghost Crusader, Tec-9 | Re-Entry and XM1014 | Black Tie.

The Mil-Spec skins are Dual Berettas | Ventilators, G3SG1 | Orange Crash and M249 | Spectre. Also in this rank are MP9 | Bioleak, P2000 | Oceanic, Sawed-Off | Fubar and SG 553 | Atlas.

Which knives drop from the Chroma 3 Case

The pool has five knife models: Bayonet, Flip Knife, Gut Knife, Karambit and M9 Bayonet. They come in six finishes: Damascus Steel, Doppler, Marble Fade, Rust Coat, Tiger Tooth and Ultraviolet.

Model, finish and wear are assigned at random, at the moment the case is opened.

Do you need a key

The Chroma 3 Case cannot be opened without a key. The key is bought in the game; since October 2019 it cannot be transferred to another account, and it is not sold on marketplaces, LIS-SKINS included.

Opening the case is optional, though. The skin you want can be taken as a separate listing, and that costs less than counting on luck at the opening.

What the Chroma 3 Case costs

The Chroma 3 Case holds the middle of the CS2 case price ladder, a little above its center. The Gamma 2 Case is cheaper by a factor of 1.15, and the Gamma Case and the Spectrum 2 Case by 1.12. Of those that cost more, the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case costs 1.06 times as much, the Spectrum Case 1.11 times, and the Chroma 2 Case 1.15 times.

At the top of the ladder the prices are different: the eSports 2013 Case is fourteen times dearer, and the CS:GO Weapon Case more than thirty-four times.

Who it suits

The Chroma 3 Case is worth buying when:

• you want a mid-ladder case with knives of five models in its pool;

• PP-Bizon | Judgement of Anubis and M4A1-S | Chantico's Fire, the Covert skins of the set, interest you;

• you want to complete the Chroma series: after the Chroma Case and the Chroma 2 Case, this is the third.
