For the Desert Eagle | Directive, Battle-Scarred (BS) starts at a float of 0.45 and runs to 1.00. It is a Restricted skin from the Gamma 2 collection, a pistol for both sides. In CS2 it is a Deagle with lengthwise hatching and teal inserts. It drops from the Gamma 2 Case, and a StatTrak version exists.
What the Desert Eagle | Directive looks like in Battle-Scarred
The slide is charcoal black with thin horizontal grooves that run along its whole length. The inserts and streaks are a teal-petrol color. They gather in several panels: at the muzzle, in the middle and at the rear. A small red mark sits at the rear end of the slide. The grip is black with teal highlights, and the dark frame has two round rivets.
Up close you can see parallel lines like a technical grid and a few small rectangular marks. The text can't be read. Valve says the pistol was designed to help the future of law enforcement stop scum.
The wear name is the same, but the condition varies: the 0.45 to 1.00 band is wide. Choose a copy by the lot itself.
Where the Desert Eagle | Directive came from
The skin came out in August 2016 with the Gamma 2 collection and the Gamma 2 Case.
What to check before buying
Among Desert Eagle | Directive lots, compare the following:
- float: the closer to 0.45, the better the condition of the paint;
- the name tag and stickers this Desert Eagle | Directive already carries.
What the Desert Eagle | Directive costs in Battle-Scarred
This is the skin's cheapest wear. Well-Worn costs four percent more, Field-Tested 1.2 times more, Minimal Wear almost seven times more, and Factory New 80 times more. That is what the narrow Factory New band costs against the wide Battle-Scarred stretch, which takes up 59% of the scale.
Of the eleven Restricted skins for the Desert Eagle, five are cheaper at this wear, including Trigger Discipline and Firebreathing. More expensive are Naga, Crimson Web, Pilot and Sunset Storm 弐, the last of which tops the row.
Getting the Desert Eagle | Directive
The skin drops from the Gamma 2 Case. You can also get it by contract: ten skins one rank lower from one set.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Desert Eagle | Directive has a StatTrak version. There are no souvenir packages, but a Souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Directive
The dark slide takes light and bright stickers, and teal ones echo the inserts. The hatching is fine, so large stickers read better than small ones. The red mark at the rear end of the slide is the only warm accent.
