Desert Eagle | Firebreathing (Battle-Scarred)

Battle-Scarred (BS) on the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing takes more than half of the finish's scale, so copies differ noticeably in appearance. The stretch runs from 0.45 to 1.00. It is a Restricted skin, and the pistol belongs to The Dead Hand Collection.

What the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing looks like in Battle-Scarred

The name promises flame, but not an orange one. Tongues of violet, lilac and light blue run over the slide and frame on a dark gray base. Turquoise highlights sit at the muzzle and on the trigger guard. Valve's own text agrees: pearlescent paint, purple and blue flames.

The flame climbs from the bottom of the frame to the top of the slide, and the magazine and grip are done in the same range. In Battle-Scarred the edge of the slide and the corners of the grip lighten, and the violet there thins out to the gray base. Wear is set once, at drop.

Where the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing came from

The skin's release date is March 11, 2026: the same update brought in The Dead Hand Collection. 3stia sent the finish to the Workshop, where the submission "Desert Eagle | Fire-breathing" appeared on December 12, 2024. Valve's catalog lists the finish under number 1430. Valve wrote that the collection holds seventeen community works and twenty-two new pairs of gloves as rare special items.

What to check before buying

In a Desert Eagle | Firebreathing listing, check:

• the float between 0.45 and 1.00: the stretch is wide, and the look at its two ends differs;

• how well the violet flames on the slide and the turquoise highlights at the muzzle have survived;

• a previous owner's stickers and a name tag.

All copies carry one artwork, and only wear tells listings apart.

What the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing costs in Battle-Scarred

Priced against Battle-Scarred, the remaining wears come out as follows:

• Factory New costs 6.4 times as much;

• Minimal Wear is 2.4 times dearer;

• Field-Tested is 1.2 times dearer;

• Well-Worn is level.

Among Restricted Desert Eagles in this wear, only two skins are cheaper: Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline and Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike. Closest above it in price stand Desert Eagle | Mulberry, Desert Eagle | Light Rail and Desert Eagle | Directive.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing

The skin comes out of the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal; no cases carry this finish. The terminal's rare special item is gloves, not a knife.

A trade-up contract is a separate path. It takes ten skins of the rank below from any collections, and the outcome's set depends on the inputs. Ten Dead Hand skins steer the result into the collection's five Restricted skins, which makes the Deagle a one-in-five chance.

StatTrak and Souvenir

StatTrak is offered on this Desert Eagle. Souvenir packages were never made for the finish, since they existed only for tournament map collections, though you can assemble a Souvenir copy yourself in the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing

Flame covers both planes of the slide, and there is almost no bare metal. A sticker lands on the violet tongues, so dark ones get lost there. Light and gold stickers read better than dark ones on the blue-violet. Orange stickers are easy to tell apart, since the skin has no orange in it.

Who this wear suits

Battle-Scarred is worth buying on the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing for these jobs:

• you need a Deagle with violet-and-blue flame, cheaper than the other four wears;

• scuffing on the slide edge does not bother you in CS2;

• you will pick the float along the long stretch of 0.45 to 1.00, where copies differ.
