Desert Eagle | Firebreathing (Factory New)

Desert Eagle | Firebreathing in Factory New (FN) is the most expensive of the finish's five wears. Its band of 0.00 to 0.07 takes up 7 percent of the scale. The rank is Restricted, the collection is The Dead Hand Collection, and the finish has no case.

What the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing looks like in Factory New

Nothing orange here, whatever the name suggests. Flame in violet, lilac and blue shades wraps the slide and frame over a dark gray base, and Valve's description names it the same way: purple and blue. Tongues rise from the bottom of the frame to the top of the slide, cover both planes, have ragged edges and overlap in places. The magazine and grip share the palette, and turquoise glints sit by the muzzle and on the trigger guard. Almost no bare metal shows, and there is no lettering.

The edge of the slide and the corners of the grip are where the color lightens, with violet giving way to the gray base. Factory New shows almost no traces of wear, so the flame is whole along its full length. The wear value received at drop stays with the copy for good.

Where the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing came from

The finish is credited to react, while the Workshop submission "Desert Eagle | Fire-breathing" was posted by 3stia on December 12, 2024. The Dead Hand Collection was added to the game on March 11, 2026, and the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing came in the same update. Valve wrote that the collection holds 17 finishes from community authors and 22 new pairs of gloves as rare special items, and that the items are opened through the terminal. Valve's catalog number is 1430.

What to check before buying

Three checks come before paying:

• float: the band of 0.00 to 0.07 is tight, and the outermost listings differ only by the number;

• stickers on the slide and frame, and a name tag if there is one;

• pattern: the artwork does not vary, so it plays no part in the choice.

What the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing costs in Factory New

Minimal Wear is cheaper than Factory New by 2.6 times, Field-Tested by 5.3, Well-Worn by 5.9 and Battle-Scarred by 6.4. The top wear stands apart: the gap between Factory New and Minimal Wear is clearly larger than between any of the lower ones.

Of the fifteen Restricted Desert Eagle finishes priced in this wear, it is second from the bottom, with only Serpent Strike cheaper. Trigger Discipline costs a few percent more, while Mulberry, Light Rail and Naga cost from two and a half to four times as much. Sunset Storm 壱, Sunset Storm 弐 and Blaze are a hundred times dearer.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing

No case holds the finish: items of The Dead Hand Collection are opened with the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. A contract of ten Mil-Spec skins also produces this Desert Eagle. The input must include an item of the collection, since the result comes from the collection of one of the inputs. Taking all ten from The Dead Hand Collection is the player's choice, and it steers the result.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The Desert Eagle | Firebreathing has a StatTrak version, and the finish has no Souvenir packages.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing

For a sticker setup in CS2, note that the flame covers almost all of the metal, so a sticker always lies on top of the tongues. Violet, blue and silver stickers pick up the palette, while warm orange and red ones contrast with it.

Who this wear suits

Factory New for the Desert Eagle | Firebreathing is worth it for three things:

• violet-blue flame on a CS2 Deagle with no scuffing on the edges of the slide and grip;

• a narrow band of 0.00 to 0.07 in which listings barely differ;

• a Restricted rank at a price in the lower part of the Desert Eagle row.
