What the Desert Eagle | Light Rail looks like in Minimal Wear
This is the Desert Eagle | Light Rail in Minimal Wear (MW), the second-cleanest wear of the finish. The float of the Desert Eagle | Light Rail lies within 0.07 to 0.15. It is a Restricted skin from The Prisma Collection.
Where the Desert Eagle | Light Rail came from
The design rests on the contrast between black gloss and an amber panel on the slide. The slide lightens from dark brown at the rear sight to gold at the muzzle, and the front sight is gold. The frame and grip are black, cut with vertical grooves, with no artwork on them. In Valve's description, this paint changes how you perceive the shape of the weapon, like an optical illusion.
The artwork is the same in every wear: a brown-and-gold panel on the slide, and a black frame with grip. The wear was set when the skin dropped and does not grow with time; across the 0.07 to 0.15 band it is small.
What to check before buying
This Deagle drops from the Prisma Case. The Prisma Collection came out in March 2019, and the skin arrived in the same update.
In the item text Valve calls the Desert Eagle as expensive as it is powerful.
What the Desert Eagle | Light Rail costs in Minimal Wear
What changes from listing to listing on this Deagle:
- the float, between 0.07 and 0.15;
- the condition of the gloss on the frame and the gold on the front sight;
- any stickers or name tag already on that particular copy.
Every copy carries the same artwork, so there is nothing to choose there.
Wear stays within 0.07 to 0.15, which leaves the listings looking much the same.
Getting the Desert Eagle | Light Rail
Factory New costs almost six times as much. Downward the scale is flatter: Field-Tested is a little over two times cheaper, and Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are slightly cheaper still.
Among Restricted Deagles with a price in this wear, three skins are cheaper and eleven cost more. Directive costs two and a half times as much, Naga one and a half times; Firebreathing and Trigger Discipline are cheaper, and Serpent Strike is three times cheaper. At the top of the rank stand Sunset Storm 壱 and 弐, and Blaze.
StatTrak and Souvenir
From the Prisma Case the skin drops without any contract. The trade-up contract takes ten Mil-Spec skins from any collections, and the result comes from the collection of one of the inputs. Ten skins taken entirely from The Prisma Collection is the player's choice that steers the result, not a condition of the exchange.
Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Light Rail
The Desert Eagle | Light Rail has a StatTrak version. There are no Souvenir packages for this finish.
Who this wear suits
The amber panel of the slide reads warm, so gold and dark stickers look natural on it. The black frame suits any color.
The Desert Eagle | Light Rail in Minimal Wear is for you if at least one of these holds:
- you want a wear cleaner than Well-Worn, but without the price of Factory New;
- the 0.07 to 0.15 band suits you, since there is almost nothing to choose by the number;
- the gloss and the amber panel should stay whole.
For CS2 the difference between wears is purely visual.
