Description

The Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm in Field-Tested (FT) takes the float band from 0.15 to 0.38. It is an Industrial Grade skin from The Rising Sun Collection, and the weapon is available to both sides. The name promises night, but in CS2 the Deagle looks turquoise.

What the Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm looks like in Field-Tested

The skin is a saturated turquoise with a large floral pattern in an Oriental spirit. The base is a dark blue-green, the color of sea water, and large leaves in a lighter turquoise lie over it. Pale gray curls run above the leaves. There is no dark night background on this skin.

The pattern covers the slide, frame and grip entirely, from the muzzle to the heel. The trigger, the inside of the barrel and small fittings remain dark metal. The leaves are drawn with veins, small buds can be seen between them, and the gray spirals resemble puffs of smoke or clouds.

This wear holds both 0.15 and 0.38, and such listings look different. The higher the float, the more the paint is worn.

What to check before buying

Before taking a Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm, look at these points:

  • float: the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide, and the number shows how worn the slide edges are;

  • what the previous owner left on the Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm, meaning stickers and an applied name;

  • the general look of the pattern up close: pattern variance has not been checked in the data, so rely on the copy itself.

What the Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm costs in Field-Tested

The most expensive wear of the skin is Factory New, which costs more than six times as much as Field-Tested. Minimal Wear costs about twice as much. The order at the bottom of the scale is unusual: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost slightly more than Field-Tested.

Among Industrial Grade Deagle skins, this one in this wear is second by price of six. Above it is only the Desert Eagle | Night, and below are The Bronze, Urban DDPAT and Mudder. The Bronze is cheaper than the Midnight Storm by more than six times.

Getting the Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm

The Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm is not found in CS2 cases. It comes out of a contract into which ten skins one rank lower from this collection were handed. The skin itself then goes on into contracts for the next rank.

The skin was released on May 28, 2015.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The skin has neither a StatTrak version nor a Souvenir one. A Souvenir copy can be made, if you like, through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm

The turquoise foliage and gray curls cover the pistol entirely, so a sticker always lands on the artwork. Dark and black stickers read well on the blue-green base. Turquoise and light gray ones merge into the leaves and smoke. There are no clean spots except the dark parts near the trigger.

Who this wear suits

The Desert Eagle | Midnight Storm in Field-Tested is worth buying if:

  • you want a turquoise Deagle with an Oriental pattern at an accessible price;

  • you want to pick a copy by float within the wide 0.15 to 0.38 band;

  • you do not need factory cleanliness, which costs more than six times as much.
