Well-Worn (WW) is the second-to-last step of the scale for the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike. The scales on the slide are worn down, while the artwork on the grip is intact. Floats run from 0.38 to 0.45, which is 12% of a scale that ends at 0.57. The skin ranks Restricted, and its set is The Fever Collection.
What the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike looks like in Well-Worn
The slide and the top of the frame carry orange and russet scales with burgundy patches. Bright orange inserts show at the muzzle and on the trigger. The grip panels are dark gray with a coiled snake laid out on them. The magazine and the strip under the slide are bare of paint.
In Well-Worn the slide edge and the frame corners lighten to gray metal, and the scales near the edges of the slide lose their sharpness. The dark pattern on the grip holds up noticeably better, so the snake is visible here too. Wear is set at the drop and never changes.
Where the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike came from
nikto made the finish, and in Valve's catalog it carries number 1189. The Fever Collection was added to the game on March 31, 2025, and the skin arrived in the same update. About Valve's note there is one known thing: it mentions the case "The Fever Case".
What to check before buying
A few points deserve a look before you buy:
- float: across 0.38 to 0.45 the listings differ barely at all;
- the state of the scales on the slide: part of the pattern in WW is already rubbed away, and what remains sits differently from copy to copy;
- a previous owner's stickers and any rename on the Desert Eagle.
Pattern variance on the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike
Stencil painting lands with an offset, so copies differ in more than wear. In Well-Worn it shows in which patches of scale survived: some copies keep the burgundy insert at the muzzle, on others it has been scuffed off. Look the copy over rather than judging by the number.
What the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike costs in Well-Worn
The other wears, relative to Well-Worn:
- Factory New is 2.4 times dearer;
- Minimal Wear is 1.2 times dearer;
- Field-Tested is cheaper by a few percent;
- Battle-Scarred is 1.3 times cheaper.
In this wear, only Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline costs less than this finish among Restricted Desert Eagles. Higher in price stand Desert Eagle | Firebreathing, Desert Eagle | Light Rail, Desert Eagle | Directive and Desert Eagle | Naga. The dearest in the line are Desert Eagle | Pilot, Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr and Desert Eagle | Sunset Storm 弐.
Getting the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike
The skin drops from the Fever Case, and no other case contains it.
It also comes out of trade-up. Ten skins of the rank below, Mil-Spec, go in from anywhere, and the more of them come from The Fever Collection, the likelier the result is from that set. Ten out of ten give one chance in five at this Deagle, which is the number of Restricted skins in the collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were issued for the finish, since those were made only for tournament map collections. A Souvenir copy can be built yourself through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike
On a worn slide a sticker covers the remaining scales, and gray metal shows around its edges. The magazine and the bottom of the frame are better places for stickers. The dark gray grip with its pattern works for light stickers.
Who this wear suits
Well-Worn is the one to take if at least one of these holds:
- price matters more than the look of the slide, but Battle-Scarred seems too scuffed;
- you want the snake on the grip and the orange inserts, without tidy scales;
- the Deagle is for CS2 matches, not for a display case.
