The name promises bronze, but the model has no golden-bronze tone. The slide is covered in glossy black-brown and gray-beige rectangular patches. The frame and the grip are dark gray with a grainy texture, and the barrel and the trigger are polished light metal.

The patches lie on the slide and the top of the frame, while the grip is almost one dark tone and the small fittings are light. The patch edges are straight, like a chocolate-bar camo, and fine dotted checkering is visible on the grip. Wear reads on the front edge of the slide and on the muzzle: they lighten to bare metal.

The skin came out in December 2020, when The Control Collection was added to the game. The Desert Eagle | The Bronze was in it from day one. Valve describes it differently from the model: "a multicolor random number pattern".
