FAMAS | Meow 36 (Factory New)

The FAMAS | Meow 36 in Factory New (FN) is a green bullpup with brush strokes and an emblem with cat ears. It is Mil-Spec, from the Recoil Collection. In CS2 the FN float band runs from 0.00 to 0.07, which takes only 7% of the skin's scale.

What the FAMAS | Meow 36 looks like in Factory New

The rifle is flooded with streaked green paint and visible brush strokes. The shade shifts from dark swamp green in the shadows to light lettuce green on the highlights, and the strokes run lengthwise, as if laid on with a brush. Green covers the whole bullpup body: carry handle, handguard, stock and grip. The trigger guard and small fittings are dark.

A small emblem sits on top of the carry handle toward the rear. It shows triangular ears and whiskers, with a short pale line beside it that reads as "MEOW", and a smaller second line below it that cannot be made out. In Factory New the strokes lie whole, though they break off in places, as with a real brush. Wear is fixed at drop.

What to check before buying

What matters when buying a FAMAS | Meow 36:

• float within 0.00 to 0.07;

• what the previous owner left on the FAMAS | Meow 36, meaning stickers and a name tag;

• whether this is the regular version or StatTrak.

The FAMAS | Meow 36 is the same design on every copy, and there are no rare examples. The band in this wear is tight, so it is hard to catch a difference between listings.

What the FAMAS | Meow 36 costs in Factory New

All the other wears are much cheaper:

• Minimal Wear by 2.5 times;

• Field-Tested by 2.4 times;

• Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred also by 2.5 times.

Among Mil-Spec FAMAS skins, the Meow 36 sits almost at the bottom of a row of eleven: only Teardown is cheaper. Above it stand Crypsis, Yeti Camo, Snake Song, 2A2F, then Hexane and Macabre, while Sundown is on a level of its own.

Getting the FAMAS | Meow 36

In CS2 the skin is in the Recoil Case, which Valve released on July 4, 2022 with seventeen community skins. The FAMAS | Meow 36 appeared in the game the same day. Nothing can be put into a contract for it: the collection has no rank below it.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The FAMAS | Meow 36 has a StatTrak version and no Souvenir packages.

Stickers and craft on the FAMAS | Meow 36

Strokes of green paint make an uneven background, and small stickers get lost on it. Large, clear stickers on the carry handle and handguard read better. Leave room next to the "MEOW" emblem, or the lettering will vanish. White and yellow stickers hold up on green, while dark and green ones blend in.

Who this wear suits

Factory New on the FAMAS | Meow 36 is a sensible buy when at least one of these fits:

• you want a clean green FAMAS with visible brush strokes;

• you want a skin with a cat emblem on the carry handle;

• you want the Recoil Case StatTrak variant with no scuffs.
