The FAMAS | Pulse in Field-Tested (FT) has a float from 0.15 to 0.38, which is 57% of the skin's scale, cut off at 0.40. It is Restricted, from The Winter Offensive Collection, for the Counter-Terrorist side. In CS2 it is a black FAMAS with an acid-pink design like broken glass.
What the FAMAS | Pulse looks like in Field-Tested
The base is black, and over it lie bright pink (fuchsia) and purple shard shapes. The butt of the stock is flooded with solid fuchsia. The design is built from angular triangular fragments with a dark outline and resembles cracks in glass.
The shards are denser on the receiver, grip and stock, and sparser on the handguard. The barrel and the sight frame stay black. Valve describes the finish as a hydrographic of bright fuchsia fragments.
Here the FAMAS | Pulse should be chosen within 0.15 to 0.38: the difference between the top and bottom of the band is visible. On the black base, wear shows through edges that lighten, while the pink shards stay bright.
Where the FAMAS | Pulse came from
The skin appeared on December 19, 2013, when the Winter Offensive collection was added to the game. In the update notes, Valve called the Winter Offensive Case the first case made by the community.
What to check before buying
The differences between FAMAS | Pulse listings come down to these:
- float: the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide, and the number shows how worn the edges are;
- stickers and a name tag inherited from a previous owner;
- version: the skin has a StatTrak variant, sold as a separate item.
The FAMAS | Pulse has no pattern variance: what is on one listing is on all the others.
What the FAMAS | Pulse costs in Field-Tested
Factory New costs four times as much, and Minimal Wear about a sixth more. In the data, Well-Worn stands about one and a half times above Field-Tested. The skin has no Battle-Scarred, because its float ends at 0.40.
Among Restricted FAMAS skins, this one is fifth of eight in ascending price in this wear: four are cheaper and three are dearer. Above it is the FAMAS | Styx, then the Spitfire, and the top of the row is taken by Prime Conspiracy. Below stand ZX Spectron, Valence, Sergeant and Neural Net.
Getting the FAMAS | Pulse
Winter Offensive Weapon Case is where it drops. The second route is a trade-up contract: ten skins of the rank below from this collection go into it.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The skin has a StatTrak version and no Souvenir one. If you like, a Souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the FAMAS | Pulse
The black base shows off light and white stickers. Pink and purple ones fight with the shards, and the stock butt with its solid fuchsia is best left without a sticker. The barrel and sight frame are black, and any sticker on them reads calmly.
Who this wear suits
The FAMAS | Pulse here is worth buying under these conditions:
- you want a bright pink and black FAMAS and have no need for factory cleanliness;
- you are choosing a listing by float within 0.15 to 0.38;
- Factory New costs four times as much, and you do not want to pay for it.
