In Well-Worn (WW) the FAMAS | Roll Cage keeps its red splashes readable, while the black edges are visibly scuffed. The skin is Covert rank, belongs to The Gamma 2 Collection and drops from the Gamma 2 Case.
What the FAMAS | Roll Cage looks like in Well-Worn
The black parts, meaning the barrel, the arc and the grip, carry a beige handguard with red drips. The magazine is beige too, with a red gradient on it. The white stock panel with black strokes stands out against the rest, and small icons run along the arc.
On a Well-Worn copy metal shows on the edges of the arc, the rib of the grip and the corners of the magazine. The large red splashes on the flat faces stay whole, so the pattern is not lost, and the lines between black and cream become sharper.
Where the FAMAS | Roll Cage came from
The skin was released in August 2016. In The Gamma 2 Collection it stands among the Covert skins alongside the AK-47 | Neon Revolution.
What to check before buying
Before buying, look at the following:
- float: this wear covers 0.38 to 0.45;
- the red patches on the handguard and the state of the arc;
- stickers on the FAMAS and a name tag, if one was applied.
The artwork is identical on every copy, so no single one is worth hunting down. Float gives you little to choose from, since 0.38 to 0.45 is a short stretch, 7% of the scale.
What the FAMAS | Roll Cage costs in Well-Worn
Set against Well-Worn, the other wears price out as follows:
- Factory New costs a quarter more;
- Minimal Wear costs about 12% more;
- Field-Tested costs about 6% more;
- Battle-Scarred costs the same.
The whole price scale sits in a narrow corridor: the factory look is a quarter above Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred costs just as much. Among the three Covert FAMAS skins, this one is the most expensive. FAMAS | Bad Trip is two and a half times cheaper, and FAMAS | Commemoration is cheaper by more than three times.
Getting the FAMAS | Roll Cage
The other source is a contract of ten skins from the rank below. From cases, the skin drops in the Gamma 2 Case.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is a StatTrak version of the FAMAS | Roll Cage. No souvenir packages were released for this finish.
Stickers and craft on the FAMAS | Roll Cage
The best spot for a sticker is the grip or the white stock panel. The handguard and magazine are busy, and a sticker there fights the splashes. Because the edges are already scuffed, a sticker beside them takes no cleanliness away from the listing.
Who this wear suits
There are three reasons to buy this wear of the FAMAS | Roll Cage:
- the price is close to the bottom: Battle-Scarred costs the same and has a higher float;
- the red splashes still read in full, and you skip the quarter extra for the factory look;
- the FAMAS is for playing CS2, where scuffs do not affect shooting.
