Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol (Factory New)

The Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol in Factory New (FN) is the cleanest wear of this white-and-black Five-SeveN for CS2. It is Restricted rank, from the Operation Riptide Collection, and comes out of the operation's own case. The float scale in this wear is 0.00 to 0.07, which is 17% of the skin's whole scale.

What the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol looks like in Factory New

The slide splits into three zones: a black front, a light gray middle and a white rear with a scarlet design. A chopped scarlet "BOOST" is on the black field, with a strip below it holding a white and a red star and a wing icon. Thin red tracks run beside it like circuit-board traces, and at the back lies an angular orange-and-gray pattern. What it depicts cannot be made out for certain.

The white frame carries red notches, and the grip is dark gray-brown. The artwork is gathered on the slide and the upper frame, while the lower grip and the trigger guard have no graphics. In Factory New the paint is clean, with no scuffs, and the white areas stay white.

Where the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol came from

Valve describes the paint job as high-contrast. The robot icon under the rear sight matches the artwork on the slide, and the call sign on the item is MECHA 0272. The skin appeared in the game on September 22, 2021, with Operation Riptide.

What to check before buying

Listings of the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol differ in these things:

• float: the 0.00 to 0.07 stretch is tight, and the difference between listings is hard to catch;

• what the previous owner left on the pistol, such as stickers and an applied name;

• version: the StatTrak variant is listed as a separate item.

Every listing carries the same pattern, unchanged.

What the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol costs in Factory New

Factory New is noticeably dearer than the other wears. Minimal Wear is almost half the price, Well-Worn half, and Field-Tested a third. The premium for the top band is large on this skin.

Among Restricted Five-SeveNs this wear sits nearer the bottom edge: only Buddy and Hybrid cost less. Above it come Retrobution, Triumvirate, Copper Galaxy, Case Hardened, Berries And Cherries and Neon Kimono.

Getting the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol

A StatTrak version of the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol exists. There are no Souvenir packages.

Stickers and craft on the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol

The slide already carries lettering and lines, and a sticker will cover part of the graphics. On a clean Factory New the white frame stays free of scratches, so stickers read best there.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol in Factory New makes sense in three cases:

• you want paint without a single scuff on the white frame and the slide;

• the tight 0.00 to 0.07 band matters to you, where listings are nearly identical;

• you need a base for a StatTrak version or a sticker set on a clean skin.
