The G3SG1 | Polar Camo in Minimal Wear (MW) occupies the float band 0.07 to 0.15. It is a Consumer Grade skin from the Train Collection for the Terrorist side in CS2: white-gray urban camouflage on a sniper rifle.
What the G3SG1 | Polar Camo looks like in Minimal Wear
The base is white and light gray, with large dark gray and almost black blotches on top. There is no blue in it, despite the "polar" name. The spots are sharp, with clear edges.
The camouflage covers the handguard, receiver, stock and scope body. The magazine is an even gray, the barrel is black and the optic has no pattern. No inscriptions can be made out on the skin.
The coating is generally even, without scuffs. The wear value is written into the item at the drop, and the white camouflage does not turn gray later.
Where the G3SG1 | Polar Camo came from
The skin belongs to the Train Collection, which according to the collection data appeared in the game in November 2013. Valve says it is applied by hydrographics in an arctic camouflage. The tagline reads "Snow is cold; death is colder".
What to check before buying
Before paying for the G3SG1 | Polar Camo, it helps to check:
- float: the band of 0.07 to 0.15 is short, and on white-gray camouflage you cannot catch the difference inside it;
- pattern: all copies of the G3SG1 | Polar Camo carry the same artwork;
- stickers and name tag: on the G3SG1 | Polar Camo they go with the listing.
What the G3SG1 | Polar Camo costs in Minimal Wear
Factory New costs 3.31 times as much as this wear. Field-Tested sits level, with a gap of under three percent. Well-Worn costs 1.12 times as much and Battle-Scarred 3.12 times as much.
Among the Consumer Grade G3SG1 skins, this one is the cheapest in this wear. Desert Storm, Green Cell, Jungle Dashed and Red Jasper cost only a few percent more. Safari Mesh costs nine times as much, and Orange Kimono and Contractor sit higher still.
Getting the G3SG1 | Polar Camo
The skin has no regular case: it is in tournament Souvenir packages, for example DreamHack 2013 and EMS One 2014, and in other packages of the Train Collection. It cannot be built from a trade-up, because it is the bottom rank of the collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The skin has no StatTrak version, but a Souvenir version exists.
Stickers and craft on the G3SG1 | Polar Camo
The white-gray background with dark blotches is busy, and small stickers get lost on it. Large, high-contrast stickers read better. Colored stickers stand out on the neutral base, while gray ones merge into the spots.
Who this wear suits
Buying the G3SG1 | Polar Camo in this wear makes sense if:
- you want urban camouflage without blue and without visible wear;
- it matters that the look inside 0.07 to 0.15 barely differs between listings;
- you want a Consumer Grade skin at the lowest price among G3SG1 skins.
