Galil AR | Connexion (Minimal Wear)

The Galil AR | Connexion in Minimal Wear (MW) is a dark Galil for CS2 with copper-orange details and a "PHOENIX CONNEXION" plate on the stock. It is a Restricted skin from The Fracture Collection and drops from the Fracture Case. Floats in Minimal Wear span 0.07 to 0.15.

What the Galil AR | Connexion looks like in Minimal Wear

The body, magazine and grip are dark gray to black. Copper-orange is painted on the heat-shield rings of the handguard, the muzzle device, the top rail, parts of the receiver and a stripe on the stock. Burgundy-red blotches lie on the receiver. The orange runs in stripes along the top and the handguard, while the bottom and the magazine stay dark.

On the stock sits a light rectangular plate with the black inscription "PHOENIX CONNEXION". The receiver carries small markings that cannot be read. Wear is fixed when the skin drops: in Minimal Wear the paint is slightly rubbed on the edges, but there are no heavy scuffs.

Where the Galil AR | Connexion came from

Valve describes the rifle as an inexpensive option among rifles available only to Terrorists, and adds that the Phoenix faction emblems are painted over the base. The skin came out with The Fracture Collection and the Fracture Case.

What to check before buying

Before paying for a Galil AR | Connexion, it is worth checking:

• the float: the 0.07 to 0.15 band is tight, and you can buy almost blind;

• the stickers and name tag, if the previous owner left them;

• the version: the finish comes in StatTrak, which is a separate item.

The Galil AR | Connexion has one and the same design on every copy, and there are no rare examples.

What the Galil AR | Connexion costs in Minimal Wear

Factory New costs about two and a half times as much. Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred cost almost half as much, and Well-Worn costs one and a half times less.

Among Restricted Galils, the Connexion in this wear is the cheapest of eleven. Control and Signal sit about a quarter higher, Galigator and Firefight two to three times higher, and Crimson Tsunami almost five times. CAUTION! and Phoenix Blacklight take the top of the row, along with one more finish.

Getting the Galil AR | Connexion

The skin drops from the Fracture Case. Ten skins of the tier below from this collection can be traded up by contract for a Galil AR | Connexion.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The finish has a StatTrak version. There have been no Souvenir packages for it.

Stickers and craft on the Galil AR | Connexion

The dark body and magazine leave plenty of even background, on which light stickers read well. The orange stripes on the handguard and rail need not be covered. The plate on the stock already carries lettering, so stickers are better placed next to it.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear on the Galil AR | Connexion is justified when:

• you want a dark Galil with orange stripes and cleaner paint than the lower wears have;

• price matters: Factory New costs two and a half times as much;

• you want a skin with the "PHOENIX CONNEXION" plate on the stock in CS2.
