Description

This is the Glock-18 | Night in Field-Tested (FT), and unlike Factory New, this wear costs little. It is an Industrial Grade skin from The Overpass Collection: a Glock in two even tones, with no pattern. The finish has no ordinary case, and tournament souvenir packages hand it out.

What the Glock-18 | Night looks like in Field-Tested

This is a plain dark Glock with no pattern. The slide is dark brown, almost black and matte. The frame, grip and trigger guard are cold gray-blue plastic, and bright metal shows inside the barrel. There are just two even tones, a dark top and a gray bottom, with no patterns, lettering or accents.

Only the stock texture is visible: the grip stippling and the slide serrations. Valve describes the finish as separate parts painted in solid colors in a night scheme, and that is how it looks on the model. A slight lightening runs along the front edge of the slide. The item's wear is fixed at the drop and cannot be reversed.

Where the Glock-18 | Night came from

The skin belongs to The Overpass Collection. The Overpass collection was added to the game in November 2014, and the Glock-18 | Night appeared in the same update. Copies come from eighteen Overpass souvenir packages, from ESL One Cologne 2014 to Copenhagen 2024. There is no data on the finish's author.

What to check before buying

Before buying the Glock-18 | Night, check a few points:

  • float: the float band for this skin is 0.15 to 0.38;

  • stickers on the Glock-18 | Night and a name tag, if there is one;

  • the light edge on the slide: the higher the float, the more visible it is.

The finish is applied the same way across the whole run. Pick the Glock-18 | Night by its number rather than by the wear label, because the 0.15 to 0.38 band is wide.

What the Glock-18 | Night costs in Field-Tested

The price of this skin changes sharply:

  • Factory New costs about twenty-five times as much;

  • Minimal Wear runs near three and a half times higher;

  • Well-Worn is level;

  • Battle-Scarred is level too.

The gap to Factory New comes from the scale: the skin's float starts at 0.06, and Factory New occupies the 0.06 to 0.07 band, which is very narrow. The lower wears lie close to one another.

The row of Industrial Grade Glocks holds six skins. The Glock-18 | Night in this wear is fourth from the top: two are cheaper and three are dearer. Above it stand Glock-18 | Red Tire, Glock-18 | Sand Dune and Glock-18 | Groundwater, which is ten times as expensive. Below are Glock-18 | Death Rattle and Glock-18 | Ocean Topo.

Getting the Glock-18 | Night

The skin has no case, and copies drop from souvenir packages. A trade-up into the Glock-18 | Night takes ten skins one rank below, all from one collection. As an input, the skin itself works too: ten Industrial Grade skins give one Mil-Spec.

StatTrak and Souvenir

StatTrak™ is not offered on this finish. Souvenir copies exist: the Overpass packages were issued for tournaments.

Stickers and craft on the Glock-18 | Night

A skin with no pattern is a clean canvas: a sticker gets in nobody's way and nothing drowns it out. On the dark slide, light and bright stickers read, and on the gray-blue frame, dark ones do. With two even tones, a craft on this skin follows a dark-top, light-bottom logic and looks assembled.

Who this wear suits

Buying the Glock-18 | Night in Field-Tested is sensible in these situations:

  • you want a restrained, pattern-free Glock for CS2 and for stickers;

  • a price three and a half times below Minimal Wear outweighs the scuffing;

  • you want a listing from souvenir packages with a clean edge on the slide.

For cleaner paint, Minimal Wear (MW) is the one to look at.
