Halo Capsule

The Halo Capsule is a sticker capsule themed on the Halo series from 343 Industries. It holds one random sticker out of seventeen entries.

What's inside the capsule

The list has ten regular stickers: Assassin, Chief, Dirty Money, Extermination, Incineration, Killjoy, Legendary, Mister Chief, Noble and Spartan. Some of them were also released in Holo, for example Assassin and Chief.

The capsule holds seventeen entries in total. One drops, and Valve does not publish the odds by finish, so there are no percentages here.

Where the Halo Capsule came from

The capsule is made up of stickers from 343 Industries, the studio that runs the Halo franchise. It is a themed release, not a tournament one: there are no teams, no seeding and no Legends, Challengers or Contenders split. The release date is not confirmed, so it is left out of this text.

The set has no player autographs, so no share of revenue goes to a tournament behind it. All seventeen entries are artwork from the Halo universe, and some of them are Holo.

Opening the capsule

You will not need a key: you pay for a single capsule. CS2 weapon cases require a key, and this capsule does not.

A sticker from the capsule goes on any firearm, and each gun has five sticker slots. The player chooses position and rotation freely. Knives and gloves cannot carry them.

Wear is added by hand and only forward: the earlier look cannot be restored, and at the last step the sticker vanishes. The capsule has no float and no wear tiers. It also has no StatTrak, no Souvenir version and no trade-up contract.

What the Halo Capsule costs

The supply is closed and no new capsules will appear, while every opening shrinks the number of sealed ones. That is the main argument for a collector.

Inside, the money sits in the Holo versions, which rank above the regular artwork. Which sticker you get is unknown, so opening stays a lottery. It makes sense to buy the capsule for the Halo theme or for a collection of sealed releases.

You can also buy the Halo Capsule as a sealed item and never open it. In CS2 the sticker that drops gives no gameplay bonus: it is about dressing up a weapon. The list of seventeen entries is known in advance, so you can see which heroes and words might drop.
