M4A1-S | Boreal Forest (Field-Tested)

The M4A1-S | Boreal Forest in Field-Tested (FT) has a float band of 0.15 to 0.38. It is an Industrial Grade skin, a camouflage in green and sand on the Counter-Terrorist rifle. For CS2 it is the silenced M4 in a classic color scheme. No case holds it, but it belongs to The Italy Collection.

What the M4A1-S | Boreal Forest looks like in Field-Tested

The ground color is light sand. Dark green and olive patches run over it, brown in places. The patches are rounded with soft edges and noticeably larger than small-grain camouflage. The camo lies on the suppressor, handguard, receiver, grip and stock. The barrel is dark and unpainted.

Valve calls it camouflage hydrographics in a forest color scheme. In Field-Tested, light scrapes and scuffs show on the edges and on the suppressor. The patches stay readable, but the edges of the body turn lighter.

Where the M4A1-S | Boreal Forest came from

The skin came out in November 2013 as part of The Italy Collection. Its sources are souvenir packages from DreamHack 2013 and EMS One 2014. It has no case.

What to check before buying

Choosing a particular M4A1-S | Boreal Forest comes down to these points:

Stickers and craft on the M4A1-S | Boreal Forest

The patchy background is busy, and small stickers drown in it. Bright, contrasting ones look better, for example orange and white. Green ones merge with the camouflage completely.
