M4A4 | Desolate Space (Well-Worn)

The M4A4 | Desolate Space in Well-Worn (WW) is a violet rifle with light edges, where the turquoise glow still holds on the flat panels. It is Classified, from the Gamma Case and the Gamma Collection. Its price here is almost the same as in Battle-Scarred.

What the M4A4 | Desolate Space looks like in Well-Worn

The base is lilac-violet, carrying a gold-olive astronaut in a helmet and turquoise clouds, with yellow-green stripes on the handguard. The rear section, the barrel and the front sight are lighter, a bluish lilac. In Well-Worn, light metal shows on the receiver edges and on the rim of the handguard, and against the violet it is noticeable at once.

At a float of 0.38 to 0.45 the glow in the middle of the side is intact. The edges of the scene, though, break off where the paint has worn away. A listing near the bottom of the band looks more even.

Where the M4A4 | Desolate Space came from

The skin was released in June 2016. Its author is Andy, and the Steam Workshop submission was filed as "PC-CSGO | M4A4 "Desolate Space"". The work was conceived in the spirit of 1970s science fiction.

What to check before buying

Listings are best compared on three signs:

• the float: here it runs from 0.38 to 0.45;

• a name tag or stickers the rifle may already be carrying;

• the edges on the receiver and handguard, which show whether the listing sits nearer one end of the band.

There is no pattern to choose by, because it is the same on every listing. You can almost buy blind here: the 0.38 to 0.45 band is tight, 7% of the scale.

What the M4A4 | Desolate Space costs in Well-Worn

Against Well-Worn, the others stand as follows:

• Factory New is 4.4 times pricier;

• Minimal Wear costs 1.55 times more;

• Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred cost the same.

Price hardly separates the three lower wears. Among the seven Classified M4A4 skins, this one has two cheaper and four more expensive in this wear. The M4A4 | Cyber Security and the M4A4 | 龍王 (Dragon King) sit about one and a half times higher. The M4A4 | Falak is a little over a quarter higher. The M4A4 | Tooth Fairy is at the bottom.

Getting the M4A4 | Desolate Space

A trade-up for this rifle takes ten skins one rank lower. The rifle itself drops from the Gamma Case.

StatTrak and Souvenir

This finish comes with StatTrak as an option; no Souvenir package was ever released for it.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Desolate Space

On Well-Worn the paint along the edges is already rubbed, so a sticker does not take away any cleanness. White and yellow stickers work best, while dark violet ones get lost. It is better not to cover the figure on the side.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn is a sensible choice if:

• you want the Battle-Scarred price but with a float below 0.45;

• the astronaut scene matters more to you than factory cleanness, which costs 4.4 times more;

• the rifle is for a CS2 loadout.
