Description

The M4A4 | Evil Daimyo in Well-Worn (WW): the red facets still hold, but light edges are already plentiful. In this wear the band is 0.38 to 0.45, which is 13% of the finish's scale. It is a Restricted skin, and the M4A4 belongs to The Falchion Collection.

What the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo looks like in Well-Worn

The pattern is flat red and gray facets, like shards. The red is saturated, with dark cherry patches. Graphite facets cut it into pieces on the receiver, and a red star badge shows on the side of the receiver. The handguard is dark gray, and the stock is red with gray inserts.

In Well-Worn the facet tips along the receiver and stock edges lighten. On a faceted drawing, such scuffs read at once. The wear is set at the drop and does not accumulate.

Where the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo came from

The finish's author is The Honey Badger; in Valve's catalog it is number 480. Players received the skin on May 28, 2015, as part of Operation Bloodhound, the very operation during which Valve released the Falchion Case.

What to check before buying

On listings of the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo, buyers compare the following:

  • float: the 0.38 to 0.45 band is narrow, so listings differ little;

  • the facets near the receiver edges, and how far the red has worn down to gray;

  • a previous owner's stickers and any rename of the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo.

Every copy of the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo carries the same artwork, and there are no rare ones. In the narrow 0.38 to 0.45 band, copies are almost impossible to tell apart.

What the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo costs in Well-Worn

The other wears, measured against Well-Worn:

  • Factory New costs 2.2 times as much;

  • Minimal Wear costs 1.4 times as much;

  • Field-Tested costs 1.2 times less;

  • Battle-Scarred costs 1.2 times less.

Among Restricted M4A4 skins, three cost less than this one: the M4A4 | Etch Lord, M4A4 | Sheet Lightning and M4A4 | Turbine. More expensive are the M4A4 | Spider Lily, M4A4 | Griffin, M4A4 | Zirka, M4A4 | Modern Hunter and M4A4 | Daybreak, and the last of these climbs far higher.

Getting the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo

The M4A4 | Evil Daimyo falls from the Falchion Case, and the finish has no other cases.

The alternative to buying is a trade-up. The contract takes ten skins of the rank below, and the inputs determine the collection of the result. Anyone after this M4A4 can steer toward it by putting in ten Falchion Collection skins, since the collection holds five Restricted skins. It is a choice, not a requirement.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The M4A4 | Evil Daimyo has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were ever made for this finish: they existed only for tournament map collections. A souvenir copy can still be built through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo

The red star on the side of the receiver marks the center of the artwork, so stickers go more easily on the stock. On worn red, white stickers read better than yellow ones. The dark gray handguard suits light stickers.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn on the M4A4 | Evil Daimyo is justified in these cases:

  • you want a red-and-gray M4A4 for CS2 that costs less than Minimal Wear;

  • light edges on the facets do not bother you;

  • you want a cleaner wear than Battle-Scarred for CS2.
