Description

M4A4 | Full Throttle in Field-Tested (FT) is the cheapest way into the Covert rank of the Genesis Collection. Field-Tested on this skin spans the 0.15 to 0.38 float band. The M4A4 drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. Of the collection's two Covert skins this one is the cheaper, and the gap to its neighbor is noticeable.

What the M4A4 | Full Throttle looks like in Field-Tested

The base is acid green, with fictional car-brand logos and racing numbers scattered over it, like a drift car. The lettering is large, white and black, and runs along the receiver, handguard and magazine. In FT, wear settles on the edges and the stock: the green is muted there and slides toward swamp. The logos stay readable across the whole band because they sit on flat areas. Toward the top of the range it is mostly the saturation of the base that suffers.

What to check before buying

A lot of the M4A4 | Full Throttle is chosen on two points:

  • float: it shows how far the acid green has dulled;

  • a name tag and stickers that come with the lot.

There is no pattern variance and no rare copies, so float is the only difference between lots.

Across the 0.15 to 0.38 band you find copies with almost no wear and copies with noticeable wear.

What the M4A4 | Full Throttle costs in Field-Tested

How the wears of the M4A4 | Full Throttle compare in price:

  • Factory New costs about four and a half times as much;

  • Minimal Wear costs about twice as much;

  • Well-Worn is about a quarter cheaper;

  • Battle-Scarred is about one and a half times cheaper.

The sharp gap at the top comes from the bright base: on acid green any dulling is visible at once. Going down, the savings are modest while the color fades fast, which is why FT stays the working choice.

Getting the M4A4 | Full Throttle

The source of the M4A4 | Full Throttle is the Sealed Genesis Terminal, which also determines the skin's collection. The Genesis Collection dates to September 16, 2025, and the M4A4 | Full Throttle was part of its first lineup.

The second route is a trade-up contract. For this M4A4 you need ten Classified skins from the collection: AWP | Ice Coaled, Glock-18 | Mirror Mosaic or MP7 | Smoking Kills. The result is one of the collection's two Covert finishes. It will be either Full Throttle or AK-47 | The Oligarch, a 50-50 chance.

It pays to run the numbers on such a trade first. Ten Classified inputs cost more than a ready-made Full Throttle, but half of the attempts bring The Oligarch, which is worth noticeably more. The wear of the result follows the wear of the skins put in.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Full Throttle

The M4A4 | Full Throttle has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up too, but no packages were made for it: those existed only for tournament map collections. Such copies are built through Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts golden tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory.

An acid base with logos makes a noisy background, so stickers on it are chosen with care. Black and white ones continue the lettering on the body and look natural. Red ones give contrast but argue with the green. Holographic stickers on this base turn into a mess. The room left for a craft is mostly on the magazine, where the pattern is calmer.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested on the M4A4 | Full Throttle is worth buying when:

  • you need a Covert M4A4 for CS2 and see no point in paying more;

  • you like the car theme rather than a military or abstract one;

  • you are putting together a bright Counter-Terrorist set in CS2.

The acid green in FT is no longer as loud as in the upper wears. At playing distance the difference doesn't register, but in screenshots it is visible.
