Description

The M4A4 | Hellfire in Field-Tested (FT) sits in the middle of the scale, where Factory New costs about two and a half times as much. The float for this wear of the M4A4 | Hellfire is 0.15 to 0.38. It is Classified rank, and the M4A4 belongs to the Operation Hydra Collection.

What the M4A4 | Hellfire looks like in Field-Tested

Red and orange fill almost the whole body, and at the center lies a cream-white plate with graphics. A red face with horns and fangs is drawn over the plate. Valve describes the finish as a devil-like creature hand-painted among fire and chains.

Flames run along the magazine, chains wrap around the grip, and a row of white skulls lines the stock. The white plate with the demon is one large block, and the rest of the weapon is built from fire colors.

What to check before buying

When choosing a listing of the M4A4 | Hellfire, this is what counts:

  • the float: the band from 0.15 to 0.38 takes 0.23 of the finish's 0.50 scale, almost half;

  • the white plate and the demon's face on the receiver, where the condition of the paint shows best;

  • the name tag and stickers this M4A4 | Hellfire already carries.

The artwork on the M4A4 | Hellfire is applied identically across the whole run. For the M4A4 | Hellfire the float number matters more than the label, since the segment from 0.15 to 0.38 holds different looks. The finish's ceiling is 0.50, so Battle-Scarred takes the segment from 0.45 to 0.50.

What the M4A4 | Hellfire costs in Field-Tested

The other wears relative to this one:

  • Factory New: about two and a half times dearer;

  • Minimal Wear: about a sixth dearer;

  • Well-Worn: about 1.7 times cheaper;

  • Battle-Scarred: about 1.7 times cheaper.

Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred cost the same, and the main price step falls at the border with Factory New.

Among Classified M4A4 skins in this wear, the finish is second by price of eight. Only M4A4 | Poseidon costs more, by an order of magnitude. The nearest below, M4A4 | Falak, is about five times cheaper.

Getting the M4A4 | Hellfire

The skin drops from the Operation Hydra Case, and the finish has no other cases.

For a trade-up to yield the M4A4 | Hellfire, ten skins one rank down go in. The Classified rank itself leads on to the Covert AWP | Oni Taiji and Five-SeveN | Hyper Beast.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Hellfire

The M4A4 | Hellfire has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were released for this finish: those were issued only for tournament map collections. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself, since the Souvenir-O-Matic puts golden tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory. That is why single Souvenir copies occasionally turn up even where no packages ever existed.

The fire palette and the white plate leave few neutral places, and only the handguard and stock are free. Red and orange stickers get lost on the orange-red ground, while black, white and gold ones read. It is best not to cover the demon's face.

Who this wear suits

Buying the M4A4 | Hellfire in Field-Tested is reasonable if:

  • you want a demonic M4A4 in a red-orange palette for CS2;

  • the artwork matters more than the state of the paint, and the gap to Minimal Wear is about a sixth of the price;

  • you will pick a listing by the float number, not by the wear label.

In CS2 matches wear does not change shooting, so here the choice is decided by looks alone.
