M4A4 | Poly Mag (Minimal Wear)

The M4A4 | Poly Mag in Minimal Wear (MW) is a rifle with orange plastic on dark metal. This wear is allotted a float of 0.07 to 0.15, just 8 percent of the scale. Its rank is Mil-Spec, and the skin drops from the Recoil Case and belongs to The Recoil Collection.

What the M4A4 | Poly Mag looks like in Minimal Wear

The rifle is dark, and the plastic parts are made to look like translucent polymer. The receiver, barrel and carry handle are dark gray metal. The handguard, magazine, stock and pistol grip are salmon-peach, with a copper cast.

Orange is given only to the plastic, while the top and barrel stay dark, so the contrast is sharp. On the magazine you can see ribs showing through and stacked rounds, as in a clear magazine. The receiver has small white markings and an emblem. The plastic is even and glossy. Wear in Minimal Wear is set at drop and does not grow.

Where the M4A4 | Poly Mag came from

The Recoil Collection opened in the game on July 4, 2022, and the M4A4 | Poly Mag was there from day one. Valve presented the Recoil Case as a set of 17 weapon skins by community artists, with Broken Fang gloves as the rare special items. The data does not name the author of this finish.

What to check before buying

The differences between copies of the M4A4 | Poly Mag come down to this:

• float: within 0.07 to 0.15 the orange plastic holds up equally, and the number decides nothing;

• stickers and a name tag already on this M4A4 | Poly Mag;

• the condition of the plastic: pale marks show there first, so check it in the listing's screenshots.

There are no two different designs of the M4A4 | Poly Mag.

What the M4A4 | Poly Mag costs in Minimal Wear

Factory New (FN) costs 4.55 times as much as Minimal Wear. Field-Tested (FT), Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) are each cheaper by a factor of 1.35.

Of nine Mil-Spec M4A4 skins priced in this wear, the Poly Mag is second from the bottom: only Choppa is a little cheaper. Zubastick costs a little over twice as much, Converter three and a half times, and Dark Operative and Magnesium more than five times. At the top of the row stand Global Offensive, Faded Zebra and Radiation Hazard, the last costing hundreds of times more.

Who this wear suits

The M4A4 | Poly Mag in Minimal Wear is justified in these cases:

• you want an M4A4 for CS2 where bright plastic contrasts with dark metal;

• clean colored plastic matters, and paying four and a half times more for FN is not needed;

• you are assembling a set from The Recoil Collection.
