M4A4 | Sheet Lightning (Minimal Wear)

For the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning, Minimal Wear (MW) takes a short band of 0.07 to 0.15, about 11% of the finish's scale. It is a Restricted skin from The Boreal Collection, and among CS2 M4A4s it stays one of the cheapest in its rank.

What the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning looks like in Minimal Wear

Gold and charcoal split the body almost evenly. The handguard, grip, magazine and carry handle are golden-orange, while the receiver and stock are gray with dark streaks. An orange inscription sits on the side of the receiver.

Minimal Wear leaves the paint nearly whole. Light scuffs show along the edges, and the main artwork is undisturbed. The degree of wear is fixed when the skin drops and never shifts afterward.

Where the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning came from

It appeared with The Boreal Collection on March 31, 2025. Valve's note for that update says three new weapon collections joined the weekly reward list.

What to check before buying

Listings differ from one another in these ways:

• the float: the band of 0.07 to 0.15 is short, and listings at its two ends differ only by the number;

• what a previous owner left on the rifle, stickers and a name tag.

The artwork is fixed and does not depend on the copy, so there is no reason to chase the number.

What the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning costs in Minimal Wear

Here is how the skin's other wears compare with MW:

• Factory New: about double;

• Field-Tested: lower by almost a factor of three;

• Well-Worn: lower by two and a half times;

• Battle-Scarred: lower by over a factor of three.

Among Restricted M4A4s the skin stays near the bottom edge. The M4A4 | Etch Lord is cheaper, and the M4A4 | Griffin and M4A4 | Evil Daimyo cost several times more. The M4A4 | Modern Hunter and M4A4 | Daybreak cost tens and hundreds of times more.

Getting the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning

No case includes it. The Boreal Collection appears on Valve's weekly reward list for playtime.

Trade-ups take it as well, with ten skins of the rank below. The contract needs no single collection, but the outcome depends on which collection the inputs belong to, so for this skin the ten are gathered from The Boreal Collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning does not exist. A Souvenir copy can only be created through the Souvenir-O-Matic: no ready-made souvenir packages contain this skin.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Sheet Lightning

Clean gold paint on the handguard and magazine asks for stickers in tone: yellow, orange and gold ones give a unified look. Light designs read on the gray body, while dark ones get lost in the charcoal streaks.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear is a sensible pick when:

• the gold on the body should not yet be rubbed away, yet the price should still be modest;

• the lightning pattern has to read without signs of heavy wear;

• you are choosing between Factory New and Field-Tested and want the middle option.
