M4A4 | Temukau (Field-Tested)

The M4A4 | Temukau in Field-Tested (FT) is the step on the scale where the artwork is still whole but the price is no longer what a clean copy costs. The float band is 0.15 to 0.38. It is of Covert rank, and the M4 drops from the Revolution Case. The Revolution Collection, which the M4A4 | Temukau comes from, was released on February 10, 2023.

What the M4A4 | Temukau looks like in Field-Tested

The body is painted in the style of Japanese animation: on the side stands a counter-terrorist girl beating back a terrorist rush. The scene fills the whole receiver, and the figure is drawn large, with a clean outline. In Field-Tested the edges and the magazine of the M4A4 | Temukau wear down, which means the borders of the scene, while the artwork itself stays untouched. Wear shows more on the light parts of the background than on the dark elements of the figure's clothing.

What to check before buying

Two things to check:

• float: nearer 0.38 the light background around the scene starts to gray;

• any stickers on the listing, and an applied name tag.

Copies repeat the artwork exactly, and there is no separate price here for a lucky pattern.

Two listings of this wear can easily look different, because the 0.15 to 0.38 band is long. It makes sense to compare several copies and choose by the number.

What the M4A4 | Temukau costs in Field-Tested

For the going price of this wear, see the listings above. By price the wears run like this:

• Factory New comes to about three times the price;

• Minimal Wear is dearer by about half;

• Well-Worn is cheaper by a few percent;

• Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about a ninth.

The price slopes only gently down from Field-Tested, so the saving on wear here is small. The gap to the clean wears is large, though, and the background explains it: the scene is drawn on a light base, where wear shows at once.

Getting the M4A4 | Temukau

The M4A4 | Temukau drops from the Revolution Case and belongs to its collection.

A trade-up contract also yields the Temukau: ten skins one rank lower go in. Examples are AWP | Duality, P2000 | Wicked Sick and UMP-45 | Wild Child. If all ten come from this collection, it has two Covert skins, so the odds of landing on this M4 are one in two. The wear of the result is inherited from the inputs.

Covert rank goes further, into a craft, but no knife comes out of it. Five Covert skins from the Revolution Collection give random gloves: Driver Gloves, Hand Wraps, Hydra Gloves, Moto Gloves, Specialist Gloves or Sport Gloves.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The M4A4 | Temukau has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up too, but no packages were released for it, as those were made only for tournament map collections. Such copies are assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which fits golden tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | Temukau

The story artwork leaves almost no room for stickers: any sticker on the receiver lands right in the scene. Only one approach works, which is to put stickers on the handguard and stock and leave the artwork open. In color, dark and red ones fit, echoing the figure's clothing. Expensive builds on the Temukau are rarely made, precisely because of the tight space.

Who this wear suits

The Temukau in Field-Tested is worth buying when at least one of these holds:

• you want an M4 with a scene on it for CS2 and see no reason to pay extra for a clean background;

• it matters that the artwork stays whole, and in FT it is untouched;

• the lower wears do not suit you: they cost only a little less and look worse.

In CS2 the scene cannot be seen at all in first person, and you can judge it only on inspection or in the inventory.
