What the M4A4 | The Battlestar looks like in Well-Worn

Olive and gray tones dominate. The handguard is covered with light panels that have a square ornament and a yellow edge, while the receiver is black with a thin pattern of yellow and orange lines. The magazine carries black-and-yellow warning stripes. The stock is light, the grip greenish gray.

The artwork is rigid and the same on any copy. The float here runs from 0.38 to 0.45, which is 11% of the skin's scale.

What to check before buying

On the M4A4 | The Battlestar it is worth comparing:

• float: the wear occupies a narrow stretch between Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred;


• stickers from the previous owner and a name tag on the skin.

One artwork covers every copy, so they differ only in wear. With the wear limited to 0.38 to 0.45, listings look alike.

Of the four wears below Factory New, WW is the priciest, even though it is more worn than Minimal Wear. Among Covert M4A4s the skin stands a little below the middle: four cost less, eight more. Desert-Strike is one and a half times higher, In Living Color and Neo-Noir are cheaper by a sixth to a seventh, Temukau and Full Throttle by a fifth.

Getting the M4A4 | The Battlestar

The contract accepts any ten skins of the rank below. To aim it at the M4A4 | The Battlestar, you hand in ten from this collection. Two Covert skins can come out, so the odds are one in two.

Its case is the Operation Wildfire Case, which is where it drops. The collection came out in early 2016, and the M4A4 | The Battlestar has been in the set since its release.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The M4A4 | The Battlestar comes with StatTrak as well. A Souvenir copy is possible, but there were no packages for this finish: tournament map collections alone received them. The Souvenir-O-Matic makes the copy by putting gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary inventory skin.

In Well-Worn the body still has enough even areas for stickers: the light stock and the handguard panels. Dark stickers read on them, while light olive ones merge with the background. Yellow ones underline the outline.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn is the right choice for the M4A4 | The Battlestar if:

• you want a Covert M4 for CS2 and have no use for the 1.74 times surcharge for Factory New;


• visible wear at a float of 0.38 to 0.45 suits you;


• you want some difference from Battle-Scarred, however small: Well-Worn carries a 1.12 times premium over it.
