M4A4 | The Coalition (Field-Tested)

The M4A4 | The Coalition in Field-Tested (FT) is the priciest Covert M4A4 in this wear. This wear is allotted floats 0.15 to 0.38. The skin is Covert rank, and the rifle belongs to The 2021 Train Collection.

What the M4A4 | The Coalition looks like in Field-Tested

The body is black, with gold laid over it in a geometric ornament. Large yellow diamonds sit on the receiver and the lower part of the magazine. A honeycomb mesh covers the top of the receiver, and the handguard is outlined in gold lines. The carry handle and the plate on the stock are gold too.

Valve calls it a gold-and-black paint job with interlocking triangles and blue accents, and the blue insert is on the handguard. There is no figure here: the design is built from diamonds, triangles and mesh, and the gold follows the shapes of the parts.

What to check before buying

In a lot of the M4A4 | The Coalition, these are the parameters to check:

• the float within 0.15 to 0.38, which covers 0.23 of the full scale from 0.00 to 1.00;


• the gold diamonds on the receiver and magazine, where against the black the state of the gold shows first;


• the name tag and stickers already on this M4A4 | The Coalition.

The design is fixed and does not depend on the copy. The 0.15 to 0.38 band leaves some room to choose: the closer to 0.15, the cleaner the copies.

What the M4A4 | The Coalition costs in Field-Tested

Against Field-Tested, the other wears sit like this:

Getting the M4A4 | The Coalition

The skin has never been in any case. A trade-up returns it, though: you put in ten skins of the rank below from the collection.

The collection has two Covert skins, and this finish is one of them.

StatTrak and Souvenir

No StatTrak version of the M4A4 | The Coalition was ever issued. There were no Souvenir sets for this finish either, since they existed only for tournament map collections. A Souvenir copy can still be put together by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from your inventory. As a result, single Souvenir copies now and then appear even where no sets ever existed.

Stickers and craft on the M4A4 | The Coalition

The black background leaves the barrel, the lower part of the handguard and the pistol grip free. Gold and white stickers echo the ornament, while red and green ones contrast with the gold. It is better not to cover the diamonds on the receiver.

Who this wear suits

Buying the M4A4 | The Coalition here, in Field-Tested, makes sense under these conditions:

• you want a gold-and-black M4A4 with a geometric ornament for CS2;


• you want the gold without the price of the top wear, since Factory New costs three times as much;


• the choice goes by float alone, because the design is the same on every lot.

For CS2 matches the wear changes only the look. If you want clean diamonds without scuffs, look at Factory New or Minimal Wear.
