MAC-10 | Acid Hex (Well-Worn)

MAC-10 | Acid Hex in Well-Worn (WW): an Industrial Grade MAC-10 for CS2 with an acid-green hexagonal pattern. This wear of the MAC-10 | Acid Hex is assigned a float of 0.38 to 0.45, and the skin's whole scale runs up to 0.58. The skin belongs to The Boreal Collection and appears in no case.

What the MAC-10 | Acid Hex looks like in Well-Worn

The body is flooded with yellow-green, and a fine mesh of hexagonal cells runs over it, much like scales. The magazine and the strap are an even light green, while the edges and the trigger guard glint golden yellow. By Valve's description, the hexagonal pattern was applied by hydrographics.

Well-Worn is one of the lower wears: the wear is fixed at the drop, and the paint on the edges is already scuffed here. The 0.38 to 0.45 band is narrow, so copies inside it are almost indistinguishable.

Where the MAC-10 | Acid Hex came from

The Boreal Collection was released on March 31, 2025, and the MAC-10 | Acid Hex has been part of it since launch. In the update note Valve listed it among three new weapon collections added to the weekly reward for playtime.

What to check before buying

On a MAC-10 | Acid Hex listing, check the following:

• float: within the narrow 0.38 to 0.45 band, copies barely differ from one another;


• stickers and a name tag already applied to this particular copy;


• pattern: the pattern index changes nothing on this skin.

What the MAC-10 | Acid Hex costs in Well-Worn

Prices by wear do not run in order. Field-Tested is more than three times cheaper than Well-Worn, Minimal Wear costs almost one and a half times as much, and Factory New a seventh more. Battle-Scarred is level.

Among Industrial Grade MAC-10s, Acid Hex in Well-Worn stands in the lower part of the row: only Calf Skin and Video Cam are cheaper. Snow Splash and Palm are level with it, Echoing Sands costs a seventh more, and Commuter costs dozens of times as much.

Getting the MAC-10 | Acid Hex

No case holds the MAC-10 | Acid Hex. Valve placed The Boreal Collection on the weekly playtime reward list. A trade-up contract of ten skins one tier lower from a single collection builds the skin, and the chance of landing on it is one in nine.

StatTrak and Souvenir

There is no StatTrak™ version of the MAC-10 | Acid Hex. There were no Souvenir packages for this finish either, but a Souvenir copy can be made through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Acid Hex

The grid of cells is noisy, and small stickers get lost on it. The even areas are on the magazine and the strap: a large dark sticker reads best there, against the light green.

Who this wear suits

Well-Worn is the sensible choice for this MAC-10 if at least one of these applies:

• you want a CS2 MAC-10 in an acid-green palette at a low price;


• a float from the 0.38 to 0.45 band suits you without picking by number;


• you want a skin from The Boreal Collection, released in 2025.
