The MAC-10 | Stalker in Field-Tested (FT) is a toxic-yellow MAC-10 with light-blue strokes and black stripes. In this wear its float runs from 0.15 to 0.38, which is 23 percent of the finish's own scale, since that goes up to 1.00. It is a Covert skin from The Shattered Web Collection.
What the MAC-10 | Stalker looks like in Field-Tested
The main color of the finish is yellow-orange, painted with speckles that resemble the coat of a spotted cat. Neon light-blue stripes and black strokes run across the body, and pink marks sit on the side. The magazine is striped in light blue and black too, and the strap by the barrel is bright yellow. Valve describes the finish as a neon blue cat with yellow and black stripes and captions it with the line "here, kitty kitty".
In Field-Tested the signs of wear gather on the edges of the body, on the trigger guard and on the end of the magazine.
Where the MAC-10 | Stalker came from
Operation Shattered Web began on November 19, 2019, and the Stalker has been in the operation's collection from the start. Four new knives arrived with the operation, and they drop from the same case.
What to check before buying
What matters when buying a MAC-10 | Stalker:
- the float: the band from 0.15 to 0.38 holds listings with different amounts of wear on the edges;
- the body edges, trigger guard and magazine end, where marks show first;
- a name tag or stickers already applied, since on the Stalker they stay attached to the lot.
The Stalker has a fixed pattern, and its price does not depend on it. Shop by the number rather than the wear label, because the band from 0.15 to 0.38 is wide.
What the MAC-10 | Stalker costs in Field-Tested
Here is how the other wears stand against this one:
- Factory New runs to two and a half times the price;
- Minimal Wear costs a third more;
- Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred differ from Field-Tested by less than three percent.
There are only two Covert MAC-10 skins. The other, MAC-10 | Neon Rider, costs more than three times as much in this wear.
Getting the MAC-10 | Stalker
The skin drops from the Shattered Web Case. The second route to it is a trade-up: ten skins one rank below, from any set. Players use ten from this collection so the result comes from here. As a Covert skin it also serves in a craft: five Covert skins yield a rare special item, and for this collection those are knives of four models.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The MAC-10 | Stalker has a StatTrak version, and no Souvenir packages were issued for this finish.
Stickers and craft on the MAC-10 | Stalker
The finish is bright and busy, so stickers compete hard with the painted design. They sit calmest on the black stripes and on the strap, where the background is more even. Cool and white stickers read on the yellow body, while yellow and orange ones merge into it.
Who this wear suits
A Field-Tested MAC-10 | Stalker makes sense under these conditions:
- you want a bright MAC-10 in CS2 whose painted design still reads well;
- you want to save, since Factory New costs two and a half times as much;
- you need a Covert skin for a trade-up or a knife craft.
If the edges must be clean, take Minimal Wear, which costs a third more.
