MP5-SD | Focus (Factory New)

In Factory New (FN), the MP5-SD | Focus occupies the band from 0.00 to 0.07, which is 7% of the finish's 0.00 to 1.00 scale. It is a Mil-Spec skin from The Genesis Collection and drops from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. It is black and glossy, with thin red accents.

What the MP5-SD | Focus looks like in Factory New

The body and suppressor are black and glossy. Deep in the lacquer you can see dark burgundy smoky swirls. The accents are scarlet rings on the suppressor at the mounts and a red stripe along the top of the receiver. The grip and stock are gray-black, and everything else is black.

A small white inscription sits on the magazine, and it cannot be read. Valve calls the finish gray, the color of gunmetal, with red accents, but on the weapon itself the base reads as black. In Factory New the gloss is even and clean.

Where the MP5-SD | Focus came from

The skin was released in September 2025 together with The Genesis Collection. It drops not from a case but from a terminal. Valve's description includes the line "STAY FOCUSED".

What to check before buying

Before taking an MP5-SD | Focus, look at these points:

• float: the 0.00 to 0.07 band is narrow, and there is almost nothing to choose by number;

• stickers and an applied name tag: on the MP5-SD | Focus they pass to you with the listing.

All copies of the MP5-SD | Focus differ only in wear, as they share one pattern. The 0.00 to 0.07 spread is so small that choosing by float is pointless.

What the MP5-SD | Focus costs in Factory New

This is the skin's priciest wear. Minimal Wear is almost three times cheaper, and Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are more than twice as cheap.

Among the nine Mil-Spec MP5-SD skins in this wear, the skin sits exactly in the middle: four cost less and four cost more. Statics costs almost twice as much. Desert-Strike is a little cheaper, while Liquidation, Necro Jr. and Gold Leaf sit lower. Highest are Co-Processor, Acid Wash and Condition Zero.

Getting the MP5-SD | Focus

The skin comes from the Sealed Genesis Terminal. A trade-up cannot produce the MP5-SD | Focus, because it is the lowest rank of the collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The MP5-SD | Focus has a StatTrak version. There are no Souvenir packages with it, but you can build a Souvenir copy through the Souvenir-O-Matic.

Stickers and craft on the MP5-SD | Focus

The black glossy body takes light stickers, and the red rings and red stripe echo red stickers. Dark stickers vanish against the black. The gray-black grip and stock give a separate field for small inscriptions.

Who this wear suits

Buying the MP5-SD | Focus in Factory New is justified in these cases:

• you want an MP5 for CS2 in black gloss with no sign of wear;

• you want red rings and a stripe on a clean gloss;

• it matters that the price sits mid-row among the Mil-Spec MP5-SD skins.
