The MP7 | Bloodsport in Field-Tested (FT) is a red-and-black MP7 in the style of a racing livery, covered in white logos. The float range of this wear runs from 0.15 to 0.38, which is 35 percent of the finish's own scale up to 0.65. It is a Covert skin from The Clutch Collection.
What the MP7 | Bloodsport looks like in Field-Tested
Bright red and dark blue-black panels divide the body. White sticker-style marks run over them. There is a NINJA inscription and stylized eyes on the side of the receiver. A vertical VOLTAIC runs along the stock, STRIKE sits on the handguard, and a white skull marks the magazine. The charging handle, front sight, trigger and the strip on the stock are golden yellow, while the lower edge of the stock and handguard is white with a red stripe.
Valve calls the finish a red-and-black hydrographic with white logos applied, and adds the motto "space for rent". The thin white lettering lies on the panel edges and loses its own edges first in Field-Tested. The large red planes on the sides hold out longer.
Where the MP7 | Bloodsport came from
The MP7 | Bloodsport came out on February 14, 2018, together with The Clutch Collection. SLIMEface drew the finish; the work reached the Workshop on April 14, 2016, under the title "BLOODSPORT - MP7". Its number in the Valve catalog is 696.
The author explains the idea this way: after a string of terrorist attacks, special forces units became celebrities, and the industry sponsors the best operators. He conceived the series as a collection on the theme of racing and extreme-sports sponsors.
What to check before buying
Before buying an MP7 | Bloodsport, run through these items:
- float: at 0.15 the lettering is more intact, while at 0.38 it is already thinner at the edges;
- the NINJA, VOLTAIC and STRIKE inscriptions, which show how wear has touched the white graphics;
- the name tag and stickers; they travel with the listing.
Every copy of the MP7 | Bloodsport carries the same pattern. On this skin the float number matters more than the label, since the 0.15 to 0.38 segment holds a range of looks.
What the MP7 | Bloodsport costs in Field-Tested
The other wears, measured against this one:
- Factory New costs 2.3 times more;
- Minimal Wear costs a quarter more;
- Well-Worn costs almost the same;
- Battle-Scarred costs eight percent less.
In CS2 this is the only Covert MP7, so there are no neighbors of the same rank and weapon to compare its price with.
Getting the MP7 | Bloodsport
The skin drops from the Clutch Case. To trade up into the MP7 | Bloodsport, you need ten skins of the rank below, with the output coming from this collection if the inputs are from it. As a Covert skin it also works in a craft. Five Covert skins in a craft yield a rare special item, and for The Clutch Collection that means gloves in six models.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Bloodsport
The MP7 | Bloodsport has a StatTrak version, but no Souvenir packages were ever released for this finish.
The finish is already busy with white marks, so new stickers have to be chosen with care. The red side areas of the panels are free, and white and gold stickers read clearly on them. Busy stickers laid over the lettering fight with the livery.
Who this wear suits
An MP7 | Bloodsport in this particular wear makes sense when:
- you want an MP7 for CS2 with a racing livery whose lettering still reads;
- you need a Covert skin from The Clutch Collection for a trade-up or a craft;
- Well-Worn costs almost the same, and Battle-Scarred is cheaper by only eight percent.
If the red planes should stay almost clean, Minimal Wear is closer: it costs a quarter more.
