MP7 | Cirrus (Minimal Wear)

This is the MP7 | Cirrus in Minimal Wear (MW), the second-cleanest band of the skin after Factory New. It is Mil-Spec and comes from the Glove Case. By price, Minimal Wear is clearly above all three lower wears, and the gap to them holds at four to five times.

What the MP7 | Cirrus looks like in Minimal Wear

The paint is laid out in two zones. On the outside runs saturated azure: handguard, stock, upper edges and the light magazine. Inside lies the receiver in dark indigo, black in places, with blue streaks toward the edges. The trigger guard and grip are dark gray, and the barrel is black.

The borders between zones are smeared, like watercolor washes on wet paper. The magazine shows a faint pattern, and the rest of the body has no figures. The name promises feathery clouds, but none can be made out on the model: this is a color scheme, not a picture. The dark patches look like carbon buildup, though they are painted.

Float values on the MP7 | Cirrus run here from 0.07 to 0.15. Wear is locked at drop, and within this band listings barely differ.

Where the MP7 | Cirrus came from

The Glove Collection came out in November 2016, and the MP7 | Cirrus was in the set from day one. The finish is part of the Glove Case. Nothing is known about the author, so we will not guess.

Getting the MP7 | Cirrus

The skin drops from the Glove Case. No trade-up leads to it, because Mil-Spec is the lowest tier in the collection. The skin itself goes into trade-ups as an input: ten of them yield one Restricted skin of the collection.

The finish has a StatTrak™ version. No Souvenir packages were released with the MP7 | Cirrus.

Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Cirrus

The azure edges and dark middle give a sticker two different backgrounds. On the receiver, light stickers win out, while on the handguard and stock the saturated blue competes with them. Because the artwork is blurred, a craft of several stickers covers nothing significant: there are no sharp lines here.

Who this wear suits

Buying the MP7 | Cirrus in Minimal Wear makes sense when:

• you want clean paint with no visible scuffs on the azure;


• you pick the listing by price and stickers, not by float, since the band is tight;


• you need the skin in CS2 as a tidy base for a craft.
