MP7 | Fade in Minimal Wear (MW): the float here runs from 0.07 to 0.15, which is thirty-two percent of the finish's scale up to 0.25. It ranks Restricted and belongs to The 2018 Inferno Collection; the metallic gradient sits on the upper part of the body only.
What the MP7 | Fade looks like in Minimal Wear
The upper receiver passes from golden orange at the front through crimson pink to a violet-blue tail. The lower part with the pistol grip is golden orange, the magazine, stock and foregrip stay bare light metal, and the muzzle is black. There is no drawing and no lettering; the color transition is the whole show.
In Minimal Wear the scuffs show only on the upper ridges of the receiver and the lip of the magazine well, and the gradient holds together. A copy's float is set at drop and does not change afterward.
Where the MP7 | Fade came from
The Inferno 2018 collection carrying this skin came out in September 2018, and the MP7 | Fade arrived in the same update. The finish is Valve's own work: it is number 752 in Valve's catalog, and no Steam Workshop submission stands behind it.
What to check before buying
When picking an MP7 | Fade, compare:
- float: in this wear it is a short stretch, 0.07 to 0.15, so chasing a number is pointless;
- the balance of yellow, pink and violet on the body, which differs between copies;
- the name tag and stickers this MP7 | Fade already carries.
The color transition does not lie the same on every copy, and we have no data on a premium for a "lucky" layout. Choose a copy by how the pink middle sits.
What the MP7 | Fade costs in Minimal Wear
Against the other wears:
- Factory New costs 1.47 times as much;
- Field-Tested costs 1.04 times less than this wear.
Of eight Restricted MP7 skins in this wear, it is second from the top. One skin is dearer, MP7 | Ocean Foam, while MP7 | Neon Ply and MP7 | Powercore are cheaper. The other six are lower still.
Getting the MP7 | Fade
No case carries the finish; its source is tournament Souvenir packages, for example the London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package. A contract also yields it. It accepts ten skins of the rank below from any collections, and the result comes from the collection of one of the inputs. Putting all ten in from The 2018 Inferno Collection steers the result there, but that is the player's choice.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The MP7 | Fade comes without StatTrak, but it did appear in Souvenir packages.
Stickers and craft on the MP7 | Fade
The bare metal of the magazine and stock makes an even backdrop, while the receiver is busy with color. White stickers read on the violet tail, and on the yellow section dark ones work better.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear is a sensible buy for the MP7 | Fade when at least one of these holds:
- you want a gradient MP7 in CS2 with scuffing only just beginning;
- Factory New costs 1.47 times as much, and the difference to the eye is small;
- Field-Tested is only 1.04 times cheaper, so choosing clean ridges costs little.
